  1. If you do need to take it to somebody to have a look at I'd probably go to an auto electrician rather than Lexus. I bet they try to sell you a new headlight unit at stupid money!
  2. I mixed dex 2 and 3 together in my IS200. I had no problems. Dex 3 is red and dex 2 is blue so when I mixed it it went black! But like I said I had no problems after mixing them. Ran it like that for 8 months until I drained and refilled it all with dex 3.
  3. Why wow? You can't just sell a car on eBay or Autotrader for free so why here? You could use gumtree but I for one would never buy anything off there. Yeah it's £29.95 for a year or £49.95 for 2 years http://www.goldmembers.co.uk/
  4. I'll third it lol... Need that code. It could be completely unrelated or could have everything to do with it. The exact same happened to me. Had my timing belt changed at Lexus then the next morning, the Check Engine light was on. I thought they had to be related and I read all sorts on the Internet about timing being out after a change. Turned out I had a faulty oxygen sensor on the CAT. Completely unrelated, just a coincidence.
  5. For me it was my power steering belt. I tightened all 3 just to be sure. I also had the squeel from the back brakes. Lexus sorted that for me when it was in for a service
  6. My plan was to always charge it after I bought the lex but I had no idea they were £2k and no idea that TTE was no more and the chargers had stopped being produced. :(
  7. Oh fair enough. I thought it was just the TTE supercharger that fitted but I don't know much about superchargers. My car isn't supercharged lol
  8. I noticed my belts squeeked when cold (not the cambelt) the 3 aux belts at the front if the engine. I just tightened them and the noise went away.
  9. A lad on the Facebook group tinted his own fogs yellow. That's the only reason I mention it :)
  10. Haha you could start your own Toyota Soarer IOW owners club
  11. Bit pricey that I would have thought. I can only suggest fleabay etc... You could buy some yellow vinyl tint and tint the fogs yourself.
  12. Hi and welcome to LOC. Can we some pics of your lex and I wouldn't mind seeing some of your Supra :)
  13. Hi and welcome to LOC :) The only way of getting any power gains from an IS200 is forced induction. Either turbo it or supercharger. Nothing else is gonna give you any real power gains. I think my IS200 is the least tuneable car I've ever owned!
  14. Hi and welcome to LOC :) I bet you've got the only Toyota Soarer on the Isle of White!
  15. Hi. I don't think they really help that much but they look great. Suppose it stiffens you suspension or steering but I doubt you'll notice it. Had one on my 300ZX but I couldn't tell the difference after putting it on.
  16. Looking good :) I think the rear lights look better with clear lenses.
  17. Nice job, car looks stunning :) Out of curiousity, is your plate private or were you lucky enough to get a normal reg with LEX as the last three letters? With regards to the high power washers, I've been using one on my cars for the last 15 years. I've never had any issue with corrosion, even Lexus wheels. I believe Lexus wheels corrode due to the type of alloy Lexus use mixed with the heavy salting of our roads in winter equals corroding flaky alloys. Also it stands to reason for me that you don't hold a high pressure washer next to your tyres. I turn the nozzle to spray not jet when doing the wheels, I stand well back when spraying them and finish them by hand.
