Hi and welcome :) As regards to Lexus Bristol it's hit and miss if they take the gold membership. I got it on a calliper replacement but not on a service. They don't give discount on servicing but if you buy parts from Kim in the parts department he will always give you the LOC gold discount. Enjoy owning a Lex :)

Sounds too good to be true! The 1 month MOT would put me off. Sounds like its gonna fail on a couple grands worth of work!

Oh bad luck mate. I've lost te back end in this car in the wet before as well but never hit anything thank god! As above looks like you've bent the control arm and/or other suspension components. Let us know how you get on.

Look mate after all is said and done, boosting your 200 will cost a lot of money. If you have the money to blow then good for you and good luck :) If however your not rich but you like the 1st gen IS, and you want it to be a bit quicker then sell your 200 and buy a 300.

Lol why did that get auto edited? Is there some bad feeling or something between LOC and OJC? I'm also going to japfest but not on a club stand. I only live 2 miles from Castle Coombe :)

Your going to spend a hell of a lot of money trying to get 250bhp from a 1GFE engine. Even supercharged your looking at 220bhp... turbo maybe 250-280bhp I've read but that's pushing it and spending obscene monies!! £5k+ As for 300bhp.... Forget it

Good news. Hope that's it all sorted now. Question tho... If it was loose wiring then where did they get the crank sensor fault code from? Anyway hope that's all your problems sorted.

Over skilled!! What a load of tosh. What they meant was we've found an eastern European lad or lass that will do it for £5k less a year than you will! Really sorry to hear about your redundancy :( Hope you find something soon. Don't give up on the car just yet!

Supercharged 200 is quicker than a stock IS300 so I'm led to believe. Seems to be the general consensus on other forums. If I had the money I'd do the same as Matt. Twin turbo 2jz :)
