  1. As above wait till June/July after the new IS launch. Bet the prices of 2nd gen drop then...
  2. Thanks Ray, I'm quite happy with them :) Hope they look good on the car!
  3. I'm going to stay at my cousins in MK the night before.... Can I count my trip from bath to MK in the furthest travelled? I think it should count :)
  4. I'll meet you guys at Newport Pagnell services. Just arranged it with Panya! :)
  5. Ray you can't go anywhere anyway.... Just realised, who's gonna do my new signature photo when I get the new wheels on?
  6. Thanks Noreen. Good thing is if I don't like the new wheels I'll just repair and refurb the Aero's and put them back on :)
  7. I was going to ask about them as well Ian... Was waiting till I had a bit more money to make an offer! Skint after today's spending spree
  8. Thanks Rory and Lakeey. I think these type of wheels suit the IS so well. I think this a good last pic of my car clean on the Aero's. :)
  9. Thanks guys. Can't wait for them to turn up now and get them on the car :) Will def post pics
  10. ^ Hi and welcome to LOC :)
  11. Haha I've already had Panya asking me the same! I'm going to fix them up when I have more money and sell them. Mint Aero's still go for £500ish :)
  12. So I went to Lexus today to see if they could solve my mysterious steering wobble and 55-70 mph. Turned out all the wheels are buckled. So had a choice to make, spend £300+ on repair and refurb or £420 on a new set of rims. I bought the new rims and treated myself to 4 brand new Yokohama tyres. Hopefully they will all be on the car by the meet on Sunday :) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/18-MESH-312S-ALLOY-WHEELS-FIT-LEXUS-GS300-GS430-IS200-IS220-IS250-IS300-/170908678574?pt=UK_CarParts_Acc_Wheels_tyres_Trims_Car_Rims_ET&hash=item27caf379ae
  13. I second what Ian says, no need to leave the forum. I hope you continue to stay active :) I understand your reasons for selling the IS, I've come close myself but I'll be keeping mine. Enjoy your holiday :)
  14. Well done Ray, impressive for you So have you sold the IS?
  15. Good news, not coming from Swansea anymore, party cancelled. 1 day to clean the car before and I don't have to drive so far :) Stuart will prob win furthest travelled now
  16. Depends. I work freelance so sometimes the commute is long like it is at the moment, 80 mile round trip a day. But I've just 10 months doing just 6 miles per day so it fluctuates. I've done 12,000 miles since I bought it a year ago.
  17. I've just been told the same thing on the Facebook group mate. I didn't think of it, thanks. Yeah the temp gauge appears to be back to normal so maybe just an airlock?
  18. If that's case Lexmanic, like I said I apologise. The reason I reacted like that is I've seen a lot of 1 off posts from people selling things that will magically transform your car and that's why I pushed you for proof. As it was your 1st ever post I assumed it was SPAM. Maybe introduce yourself to the community first. I'm still sceptical it gives 40 more horses but there you go. Seeing is believing in my case. So let's start over.... Welcome to LOC :)
  19. Just washed and waxed the car Ian... Last time before the meet! I wonder if it'll look this good next Sinday after a week of commuting and then driving to and from Swansea? Doubt it lol
  20. Like i said... Your claiming power increase figures of 40bhp. That's quite a lot. How do you know this if you haven't had it on a rolling road? Don't come on a car forum where people know about cars claiming quite significant power increases without proof or you will get shot down. Also is this the best kept secret in the world? If the figures you claim are correct then every IS220d owner would have/want one? Such as most people would love a supercharger on their IS200 as it gives 70 more BHP but for that privilege you have to pay £2000. So for £300 on the diesel you can get half that power? You see why I'm sceptical? So if everything you say is true surely you have some proof of this? All I'm asking for us proof. I could say buy this green magic tree air fresher from me and it'll give you 40bhp more.... I have no proof but take my word for it!
