  1. If it were my car I'd change it. 6 years or 60k whichever comes first. If it was last changed 6 years ago so it's due, even if you've only done 21k.
  2. Just keep monitoring it for a few days. Mine sits on full when hot and full when cold on the hot/cold markers. Haven't had to top mine up in a long time. You'll know if your losing fluid after a couple of days, it's not normal to have to keep topping up.
  3. ^haha Jomo.... I'd like to know why you would want this?
  4. They look great on the IS I think. Still want to get some for mine. My mate got his from Lexus Birmingham eBay shop... About £50 for the set IIRC.
  5. Agree^^ Massively doubt you have an ECU problem
  6. No pics, didn't happen! Rules of the car forums mate don't ya know?? only joking Panya That would have been some sight... Love the colour of your car!
  7. Don't be scared of a dealer mate. I paid them £50 to diagnose the fault accurately then went off and got the job done a hell of a lot cheaper than they quoted :)
  8. He says he can feel the misfire in the post before mine. Just realised you say it's running lean. So def would look at injectors not putting in enough fuel? Or even fuel pump, blockage in fuel lines somewhere. Really could be anything fella, best get it to somebody who knows what their doing.
  9. When I first got my car it was throwing up misfire codes even though the coils were perfectly fine and 6 new spark plugs. Nobody could find fault so in the end I had to take it to Lexus as I was at my wits end. They diagnosed it in no time. Faulty fuel injector. I'm not saying this is what's wrong with yours but it's surely something to consider if your coils and plugs are fine. I think they also have much more sofisticated diagnostic computers than say a backstreet garage or the RAC man. The main difference between your prob and mine is that I knew what cylinder the misfire was on as the code reader would bring up misfire cylinder 3.
  10. But surely the engine managment light would come on of it went into limp mode?
  11. Good advice^ They may make your car sound better but I've read a lot of people claiming their car actually lost BHP after fitting an induction kit!
  12. Hi, yes WIM are in Chesham in Buckinghamshire. http://www.wheels-inmotion.co.uk/
  13. I like the handbrake! I've sat in your car mate and it feels chunky! Lol... Lots of hard work gone into this car when a lot of people wouldn't have bothered. Love it when somebody cares enough to put a great car back on the road. Good work mate, brilliant!! :)
  14. Hi there, very nice :zee: Welcome to LOC :)
  15. No rust here either, 12 years old.
  16. Glad it's sorted fella. Sorry didn't reply earlier only just seen it now but yes that sounds like an ok price for new callipers. Cheaper than Lexus anyway! :)
  17. I was the same, looks like a car has no wheels if they're all black but I like these cos of the silver lip. Each to their own tho fella, good job we don't all have the same taste. My best mate also doesn't like them so that's 2 of you now
  18. Lol no I didn't notice. Funny how you noticed things like that.... I was watching wheeler dealers the other night and I spotted, hung up on the wall, a Lexus is200 alloy wheel. The later 11 spoke one :)
