  1. Although in the service schedule Lexus say to replace SK20's every 60k. Not sure I'd run any plug up to 120k but yes I've read they are meant to last that long.
  2. Remember the old CD cleaners. You know the disc that you put in press play and it cleans the lens? I used one on my head unit when I first got the car. Worked a treat. Might be worth trying that for £2.99 before you replace the unit?
  3. Here you go Noreen. Ian posted up the service schedule just this morning http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/82782-service-schedule-sheet/#entry825139
  4. As per service schedule. Every 10k for oil, oil filter and a check of everything then every 20k or 1 year for a full service.
  5. Aaaaand it's back... Original removed by eBay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230997703528;jsessionid=CFDA5C8B10D856258BF6652F083DF7ED?ru=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.co.uk%2Fsch%2Fi.html%3F_from%3DR40%26_sacat%3D0%26_nkw%3D230997703528%26_rdc%3D1
  6. Nice clean looking car :) After all this time I'm still undecided if I like the Sportscross or not.....
  7. Aaaaaand it's gone! Listing removed! Surprise surprise!
  8. Haha no! It will accelerate from 30-60 in 6th gear in about 6 weeks! But yeah it maintains that speed ok, doing about 1200rpm
  9. Meatheads on my old estate would do you over for a fiver and a Tesco club card!
  10. Honestly I put mine into 5th at 30-35mph quite often. I've put in into 6th just to see if it pulls and it does.
  11. Yep Pete the car is unbelievably torquey! Mine pulls without complaint at 30mph in 5th or even 6th gear!!
  12. When I bought my lex I took 2 mates along... I'm not small and my mates are even bigger. On the estate where I grew up this was very common. Turn up with a few grand in your pocket to buy a car and there's 4 or 5 meatheads waiting to relieve you of your cash, a few teeth and a couple of pints of blood....
  13. SK20's should last up to 60-100,000 miles. IK20,s last 20-30,000 miles. IK20's are a 'performance plug' only really beneficial if your running boost, i.e. supercharger or turbo.
  14. You just need a diagnostic^ That'll tell you where and why your car is mis firing.
  15. That has to be the best eBay listing in the history of eBay listings! Absolutely hilarious! Thanks for that :) And the bidding is up to £6000 hahahaha...
  16. I'm up for camping mate but only for the 1 night. 3 nights minimum? But of joke that....
  17. Yeah they seem to be the right ones. I just can't work out why they are so cheap? :) These are what I have in mine. They are Denso OEM and are what Lexus would have put in your car at the factory http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GENUINE-LEXUS-SPARK-PLUGS-SK20R11-DENSO-IRIDIUM-LONG-LIFE/271190315756?_trksid=p5197.m1992&_trkparms=aid%3D111000%26algo%3DREC.CURRENT%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D14%26meid%3D8277812104837897084%26pid%3D100015%26prg%3D1006%26rk%3D1%26sd%3D271190315756%26 If it were my money and my car I'd buy these for an extra 20 odd quid :)
  18. Don't know how many times I've posted this now! Lol!! IS200 is sensitive to plugs and you must use the correct ones. That is Denso or NGK irridium. Denso SK20R11's are OEM. You should be paying about £60-70 for a set of 6. Try and buy cheap plugs and you'll regret it...
  19. Yep I'd start with your cabin/pollen filter. Not sure how often it should be changed on a 250 but I change mine every service so every 10k
  20. Let us know how it goes. I'd like to do this. I was put off because I thought it cost a few hundred quid but I'd give it a go for £90!
  21. Hi, welcome to LOC. As said, get some pics up :)
