  1. There are many cases of it being the head gasket with no obvious symptoms such as coolant and oil mixing. It's just with this cars reputation maybe get a second opinion or get Lexus to have a look at it. I've read a few stories on here where the only symptoms are loss of oil or coolant (not necessarily both and not necessarily mixing) and smoke out the back as your describing. Using a litre of oil every 6 weeks is alarming. If you've just had an oil change then it's not seals or anything? Can't answer your other questions I'm sorry and i do hope for your sake its something like you've mentioned. Hope you get it sorted anyway :)
  2. You can't sell on this forum unless your a paid up gold member.
  3. No you can gprettying much any colour from fleabay. That's what I mean, if mine was blue I would paint the callipers silver and put blue de cals on :)
  4. I always thought if I bought a blue one I would have painted them silver with blue Lexus de cals but yeah just off black would look good :)
  5. Mine are black, I have some silver Lexus de cals to put on but haven't got round to it yet. Might do it this afternoon :)
  6. Not Red!!! ^ Haha I just have a hatred for red callipers
  7. Very nice :) Blue is my favourite colour on these. I was looking for a blue one but saw mine and had to have it lol :) Yeah the grill on that will take you 5 mins to change.
  8. Hi and welcome to LOC :) I take it you have a standard bumper? If this is the case then yes the grill is extremely easy to swap over. If however you have a TTE bumper then the grill is part of the bumper and not replaceable :)
  9. Sounds like bad news, sounds like the head gasket. Check the oil cap for a white mayonnaise type substance and check your coolant for droplets of oil. The loss of oil is concerning, are you also loosing coolant? Lexus's don't use oil, not a drop. Do a search on IS220d head gasket problems on this forum. There's a design fault with the head gasket and Lexus have been replacing engines under an extended goodwill warranty, 6 years old or under 111'000 miles as long as you have a full service history, but as your car is at 116,000 miles I think you might be outside this. Good luck
  10. These were made in batches by a member who's no longer making them or is no longer active on the forum. Might see the odd set pop up on eBay and the like but I wouldn't hold my breath....
  11. The limit should be increased to 80. Good old tree huggers making up random carbon emission numbers....
  12. Only the limited edition came with HID's as standard so most of us don't have that warning light. Can u put a pic up of the light on?
  13. Looking forward to the pics :) In this country what you've done would cost double what my car is worth I'd love to give mine a full re spray....
  14. £257.35 for an undertray? IS's being broken a becoming more popular. I see a few come up every month, just get one off one of those. Discs and pads is a bit of a joke as well. Get it done a lot cheaper than that. Totally agree with you for going to Lexus for the cambelt change. I did the same. Service is fantastic :)
  15. Hi. That's a great result :) As Steve said we see a lot of stories on here of people having to fight Lexus UK to get the work covered under the warranty. All stories should be the same as yours. Amazing MPG by the way. I didn't think the 220d was capable of that. I read 40-45 is about normal. Impressive :)
  16. Now now Pete, we've had this discussion... Oh no wait.... That was a 4 door Supra
  17. Now now Pete, we've had this discussion...
  18. Sorry Panya but I couldn't give that car up for a Fiat, sorry.....Abarth. That 300 is just stunning. Sad day mate :(
