Ok mate I don't know. I have a sport that came with 18" wheels and the recommended tyre pressure for full load or travelling at speed is 36psi. It also says on my tyres (225/40/18) Do not exceed 40psi that's why I thought 38 was high.

38psi?? Are they bulging Are you on 17's or 18's? Even on 18's 36 is the recommended pressure. :)

The reason it's listed as a Lexus is to get the advert more views, simple as that. The first paragraph of the advert says this is a listing for a Honda Legend which we believe to be an alternative to a Lexus LS.

If you can find one they are superb :)

Honda Legend Looks a bit like a Lexus. Has a lot of luxuries like an LS. That's about it Honda Legend is a rarer car in the UK than any Lexus as well.

Hi and welcome to LOC. Clutch judder.... Caused by the dual mass flywheel. Nothing wrong. Get used to it, some did this from new. If the judder is horrendously bad then change the flywheel (£1000 part only for dual mass) or just fit a solid mass flywheel for a lot lot less. Power steering squeal... Check belt is not slipping and at the right tension (99% sure that's your problem) if it's wearing out, replace, they're only a tenner. Lumpy steering:- flush power steering fluid. Lumpiness caused by air getting in the pump through a leak or fluid is rubbish and needs changing. Blue Smoke:- this is not good and should not just be left! Valve stem seals sounds like a good bet but get it sorted ASAP. Blue smoke is burning oil. These cars don't burn oil or use a drop if all is well. Keeping and eye on the oil level and Topping up now and then is not a solution.

Just thought I'd share this with you guys. Just been on the Alfa Romeo forum (my dad has owned several over the years and I used to go to meets with him that's why I'm a member) Anyway somebody was asking about getting a Lexus. They got a reply saying "I've just been on the Lexus owners club forum. There's no endless stories of failed water pumps, cambelts, electrical problems etc that we suffer with. All they're talking about is their next meet and where they are going on holidays!" If that's not a testament to how good and reliable Lexus are then I don't know what is!

No worries fella. The 6 cylinder engine code is a 1G-FE (AS Altezza and Lexus IS200) The beams 4 cylinder is 3S-GE (RS Altezza)

One has 4 cylinders and one has 6 mate ;)

Hi there. Yeah if it's power you want then an RS Altezza or an IS300 is what you will want. The Altezza makes 220bhp standard from the Yamaha tuned beams 4 pot as opposed to 153bhp from an IS200 with its lazy 6 cylinder. An AS Altezza even tho it says beams on the engine has the same 6 cylinder engine as an IS200 so it's the RS you want! :) As for converting the transmission.... No idea matey
