  1. You do have an amp in an SE. Down behind the glove box. Halfords don't know their a*se from their elbow.....
  2. Welcome to LOC :) Nice couple you got there
  3. As its all fitted I can't see why it's not plug and play. Should be the wiring loom behind the dash, unless that's been ripped out too
  4. Well your car did have sat nav then. I'm guessing previous owner removed the screen to sell or modify... Not really a market for it mate, as you say, prob sit in your shed for years!
  5. Glad they're looking good mate! :) I'd like this in mine tbh but it just seems so much hassle!
  6. No worries :) You'll find on this forum if people don't have any or good advice they won't offer uninformed advice.
  7. Nobody has any advice mate because no IS200 or IS300 came with DVD headrests. That's aftermarket....
  8. Your model would have been an SE navigator if it had it from the factory. Check the boot for the sat nav disc holder. Very strange to have the controls but not the screen lol...
  9. If its done by Lexus mate of course it'll be genuine brand new parts. I don't think you've got anything worry about :)
  10. Yeah sounds like somebody either took out the sat nav screen or starting retro fitting it and realised its a bigger job than they thought and gave up!
  11. Hi and welcome to LOC. :) Only cars fitted with sat nav have the nav controls near the handbrake. Ate you sure yours doesn't have nav? It's at the top of the center console not where the stereo is. there's a button says open/close on one side and tilt on the other. Or do you just have an empty space there?
  12. Haha no that's the same for me then. I guess your on a PS3 as well. I've got Xbox. I've always used the right second trigger button for accelerate and the left 2nd trigger button for brake :)
  13. What do you mean the controls are different? Why have they done that? Grrrrrr.... Still not got mine yet. I'm hoping it's at home, I'm in Malta till tomorrow. Can't wait to get home and play it lol :)
  14. If you have no warning lights then I very much doubt a diagnostic would show anything up. Clean the throttle body, air filter etc and as above try putting some of that BG44K stuff in. I've never used it but others swear by it. When you say you serviced it did you change the spark plugs as well?
  15. Can't remember off the top of my head mate. T3 maybe or T5?? I've got literally about 50 of each of the bigger ones and smaller ones at home all in different colours. Been a while since I had to buy any lol. Try doing a search on the forum, I'm sure theres a bulb list somewhere :)
  16. Dead easy to change mate. it's only 5 bulbs for the whole cluster. There are 3 bigger bulbs same size as your 501 sidelight bulbs, and 2 smaller. That kit looks pretty good. I've had blue In mine, yellow, bright white, back to blue, and now I have a mix of red, orange, yellow and bright white lol.... I change mine around if I'm bored!
  17. Not being funny but look over your shoulder before moving out or changing lanes. I do it as habit. Don't just rely on your mirrors. They teach you that when you learn to drive :)
  18. Normal IS200 clutch judder. It's caused by the dual mass flywheel. There is nothing wrong and some even did this from brand new. I wouldn't go changing any parts, mines done it for 25,000 miles now! This topic is heavily covered on this forum mate, just do a search for IS200 clutch judder :)
  19. Sorry that's no good you you^ For an IS200..... Very Stupid lol
  20. Here you go...... :) http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/tutorials/article/131-lexus-is200-is300-altezza-lower-ball-joints/
