Chill, nobody is looking for an argument fella.
No, nobody said Lexus made glass but you saying to ask for "OEM" one implied that Lexus did.
I was just making the point that a screen from Lexus is exactly the same as a screen from autoglass or the AA except for a little stamp that says Lexus....and also if you go to a dealer and ask them to fit a windscreen they'll charge you more and just get autoglass or the AA to do it..... After it's had its Lexus stamp of course.
So I don't understand how an "OEM" screen, whatever you class that as, is better than any other screen from any other professional glass fitting company. That's all I was trying to say, there's no point going to a dealer that's all. If a Lexus stamp means that much to you then yeah ask the glass fitting company you use to get a Lexus stamped one.
As for avoiding further problems, these arise from poorly fitted glass, not inferior quality windscreens.
