  1. Details are still scant, but it's a start... https://www.motor1.com/news/508226/lexus-phev-ev-schedule/
  2. I had a similar issue with my previous 2016 NX, and also a Samsung phone (Note 10+). I solved it by adding the country prefix to all phone numbers. i.e. 07710 123456 became +44 7710 123456 or 01703 555444 became +44 1703 555444
  3. Good service indeed. Better service would have been to check that the aircon was working properly as part of the pre-handover checks though. The fact that they could not detect a leak would suggest that there was no gas in the first place... unless I have misunderstood.
  4. I always ask the dealer to switch this on. And the windows open all the way down by the way.
  5. It used to be ON by default, but was told it was changed in response to customer feedback, where owners complained about finding their cars with the windows open. I have always asked the dealer to switch this on, but I have to say to being caught out a couple of times, mainly when having the key in a jeans pocket. I think it is more likely to happen if you have a keyring attached to the key as it may press against the buttons.
  6. I have to admit to taking my cars regularly through the local IMO carwash or a reputable hand wash without noticing any adverse effect. For me, the time saved and convenience far outweigh any 'damage' to the paint, and no one has ever asked me how the cars were washed when selling on. Note that I am not criticising anyone who spends hours detailing their car: I am the first one to admit that the results are indeed stunning - if done well - and I can understand the satisfaction one gets of putting the effort in. It's just not for me.
  7. Really? - I was not aware of this and cannot find reference to this in the handbook...
  8. YOu definitely need to test drive the LC. You will find that the car is a lot smoother, feels better screwed together and benefits from higher quality materials. From my own (limited experience), gear changes are also smoother in the LC and does not 'hunt' in the way the Maserati gearbox can do at times, bearing in mind that my experience of the Maserati was a couple of weeks in a Quattroporte.
  9. Personable
  10. Yugo. Which I believe was the cheapest car on sale in the UK (and probably everywhere else) at the time. Made in... Yugoslavia when that was still a country.
  11. I have to say, I don't remember much about the car, except that it made an odd noise (air cooled engine), had a dash mounted gear stick, and that the back rest of the front seats used to fold forward rather violently, each time hitting the horn in the middle of the steering wheel, which as kids used to think was hilarious!
  12. Ooh so close!... Honda Z600
  13. Would you have the option to source the windscreen from Lexus and then get Autoglass to fit it? Also, if Lexus have offered to foot the bill, do you need to go through your insurance?
  14. As a matter of interest, what is different from one windscreen to another that should affect the HUD?
  15. I suspect that Toyota got a (slightly) higher rating than Lexus because Toyota drivers have lower expectations... 😄
  16. Nope.
  17. Yep. Autobianchi A112E to be precise. Mine was the same as in the pic, but with a white roof. Had to get rid of it when the jack went through the body work when attempting to replace a flat tyre.
