  1. Yeah i know. Did see some other low milers recently at around 3.5k (on ebay) but this ones even less miles AND well serviced. Not that thats really an issue for a car thats only done 26k lol. If it was around march last year, would have had it ;-) Just thought id post incase anyone fancied an upgrade, no doubt theres much haggling to be had on the price lol.

  2. Thats why i thought id ask here cos if i can id prefer to sell to someone on here. Obviously of the 3 choices silver would suit a wider audience but i think quite a few owners paint there wheels a different colour anyway, no doubt cos its much cheaper than new alloys. Hopefully i get a few more replies and see what people think or maybe even a request lol.

  3. In the next month or so i will be refurbing my old standard 17's with the intention of selling them (tyres included). Just wanted some feedback as to what colour to paint them? Black, Silver or a Gunmetal Grey?

When finished they will be up for sale here first so thought some opinions would be good. P.s to mods, i will become a gold member before i try to sell so dont worry ;-)

  4. Ive got 18's on mine. Although my ride is harder its not crazy harsh as its on a medium setting, its not stupidly low and handles really well. Although i didnt get it done by these people if u want a new exhaust system u shud go to Fast Road Conversions in Ashford (check them out on facebook or there website). If i decide to change anything on my exhaust again i will go to them.

  5. Where in Kent are you? Im in Kent.

As for the TRD stuff you'll just have to watch eBay like a hawk, ive missed out on them a couple of times. Lexus themselves cud prob sell u some bits but will be more expensive. I asked last year and then wud sell me the front and back lips but think they said the skirts were discontinued.

  6. Everyone has different deciding factors. I have indeed found the 200 isnt brilliant in snow but i didnt get any winter tyres. Reason being our snowfall was rubbish compared to many and my current job is only 3 miles away so if all else failed i could ultimately walk. This wouldnt be the case for most people.

  7. I thought about swapping my 200 recently for a 300, but swapping bits over and spending extra money at the moment kinda put me off. There were 2 on eBay that i was looking at. Although they are both older than urs, they had mileages of 31,000 and 41,000 i think and were priced at 3.5k and 3.8k.

  8. Can only really comment on a couple of things, plus i have a 200 so cannot comment on the 300 although they will be very similar. As you want an auto you'll prob want a 300, im sure most people will say that auto box is better. Mine is comfortable and the half leather/half suede seats are good enough for me. Leg/head room depends on how tall you are really, im about 6ft 5 and head room isnt brilliant but leg room is fine cos of the adjustable seats. Very reliable cars, 300,000 + kms no problem (im thinkin of the 200 but im sure the 300 is also super reliable). Either way im sure everyone would agree that you shud just test drive both and make your mind up yourself. Lastly, although the 300 is faster if engine swaps or any sort of turboing would interest you then Ray Hall Turbocharging ( www.turbofast.com.au ) would be a good place to go whether you got a 200 or 300.

  9. @bjbanny, i was unsure about what wheels to get when changing them but seeing as i actually went to Rochford Tyres in person i was able to look at them properly. They look much better than in the pic. The lip is polished aluminium so is shiny but obviously not chrome shiny. Depends if thats your thing really and for the price i cant fault them.

  10. Depends how much adjustability u want. Lowering springs and/or new shocks will give u 1 height and 1 level of comfort obviously, compared to 32 dampening levels and full height adjustability on my coilovers. Mine were fitted at Wheels In Motion and lowered to a sensible level as dont want to scrape anything on speed bumps etc. They cud go lower but i dont want my exhaust to get ripped off lol.
