  6. Change was due to progression of the software. We cannot run with old software and run the risk of security. The only parts I see that are different in the way the forum flows is the top Navigation. 1. Latest Posts Button (looking to add a new button next week) 2. The top section now says Browse instead of forums, Clicking Browse will do the same thing as the old forums link. It will take you back to the menu. 3. The latest Activity stream encompasses everything about the community. But if you want just a list of latest threads then bookmark this link http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/discover/7/ If you want a link top right of your forums to say "Latest Posts" and it display only topics like before then you can do so by this guide: However, Next week I will try and put a new button in. As for that, The flow is exactly the same, it just looks slightly different. We cannot go back to the old theme, This software is up to date. The current theme is completely out of the box, apart from colours and logo. There are many new updates with the new version, one is the movie side of the site is now much better than before. Please stick with it guys. We are trying our best to get it smoothed out. Thanks

  13. The boot on the GS series II is sprung so that with a gently push the boot will close without futher assistance. However adding a spoiler to the boot lid will cause it to slam due to the extra weight. Luckily the tension can easily be adjusted to allow for this extra weight. First open the boot and remove the side trim which is attached via the plugs circled in red in the picture below. Once the trim is pulled back you can see the end of the torsion bar is located in a hole in the metalwork. There are three positions, the default position is towards the front of the vehicle. Grab hold of the bar, pull inwards then pull the bar back towards the rear of vehicle and locate in one of the other holes. The picture below shows the bar in the highest tension setting. Do the same on the other side, test the operation of the boot lid and then replace boot trim.
  14. It is recommended that the engine ECU is reset after any engine performance modifications have been made to the vehicle, including using a higher octane fuel, to accelerate the learning of any new parameters. Resetting the ECU will also clear any stored error codes, however if you have a fault with your vehicle it is advisable that these codes are retrieved rather than wiped as they may help in diagnosing the problem. Make sure the ignition is turned off Remove the engine bay fuse box cover Remove the 20Amp/25Amp EFI fuse Remove the 15Amp ETCS fuse Wait 30 seconds Re-insert the two fuses Install the fuse box cover It is also possible to reset the engine ECU by removing the battery. Please note that this method will also reset any memory settings such as radio presets, trip mileage, clock etc.
