this one is on auto trader - looks as good as it sounds - makes the 5K one which was one gumtree a few weeks ago a look like a bargain

they missed a bit of dust on the runner though lol

hi so far there has not been any cases of significant failures nor is there any known common faults apart from one where the steering wheel goes off-centre and to fix this lexus fit a new steering rack !! otherwise they seem to pretty reliable - they obviously have alot of electrics so check everything works including the air suspension hoping to buy one when i can afford one!

i have always used 0w-30 full synthetic castrol edge in my LSs without any problems

well you would of thought if they got it right 2004 then anything else produced after this would not have any glitches and work properly

in the 430 i very rarely have to wiper myself - i would in sensitivity terms they are perfect - same as the auto headlights - I have'nt touched that switch for a long time. i have been in a 07 plate mercedes e class and the rain sensor wipers are not perfect and require alot of driver input!

the ad and the price has now changes?? i think any 450h over 100k miles is a big risk even with full history as there is no guarantee when the battery will start playing up - you also have very common problems like shocks/calipers/leaking waterpump - these problems will wipe out almost all if not great amount of the savings from the hybrid system and 9 times out of 10 the hybrid problems need to be sorted at the dealer

maybe your battery has smaller than normal posts which japanese ones do and need the converters/adaptors to increase their size - there is some on ebay

yes thats right = speed sensitive wipers - the mark 3 has them aswell rain sensor wipers are even better - you take them for granted untill you drive a car with no rain sensor - its so annoying having to switch on and off - or wipe the screen once to clear it

these are often overlooked - i change mine every year - which is probably overkill but i do it anyway

item number 301697237500 on ebay looks nice with history steering wheel looks a bit scabby though!

others might not agree with this My mark 3 used to have cream leather - I used to vaccum out all the dirt as much as i could and then use daz handwash powder in hot water - soak micro cloth in solution and wring out as much solution as you can then gently clean a small section of carpet at a time - often re-soaking the cloth so no dirt goes back in the carpet. the key is to make sure the cloth has little water in it as possible as excess water destroys the pile and the carpet never looks the same again. i tried vanish foam aswell but didnt get a good result i still use the same method today on my 430 which has grey carpet - but rarely need as i hoover it often prevent any dirt getting into the carpets in the first place. hope this helps

maz sorry for the problems you are having with your car and bad service from the dealer - giving your car back misfiring expecting you to drive it away is very bad service - the dealer should have the car picked up and faults rectified.

hi if you have more than key - try the other one incase this one is not communicating with the immobilisor properly
