amazing car - very good value for money - you cant beat that i sold my 96 mark 3 in december 2010 for £1100 with 80k on the clock

the smart key should open the boot aswell if you are going to buy a used one - you will need to take it to the dealer to link it up with your car to enable the keyless entry and start functions - you will also need to buy a new metal blade - have it cut and fitted do not buy from the USA - those keys will not work with UK cars

guys i posted in the technical forum but didnt get a reply so im asking again im on the look out for a nice 06/07 or even 08 plate 450h and want to know is there any tell tale signs of hybrid cell failure. Can the car be run on just the petrol engine in the event of a big expensive hybrid failure i.e inverter and finally is it better to go for a low mileage (under 100k) or one which has slightly higher mileage albiet maybe motorway runs in which case the hybrid components will have less wear and tear therfore longer life manyy thanks for your help

Regardless of what I may think of the tactics employed in purchasing the car from me, as the owner of the car for 10 years from 7,500 miles to its present mileage I have to say that I think £6k is a fair price for the car. I doubt that anyone purchasing the car at that price would have cause to complain as the car is what I consider to be immaculate inside and out. I have replaced it with a 2007 SC430 with 42k miles and a 2007 RX350 with 56k miles and despite being almost 10 years newer and similar or less miles neither of them come close to the condition of the LS400 when I sold it back in August. I have nothing to gain by saying so, and under the circumstances I am not looking to do the guy who bought it from me any favours but that car needs to be owned by someone who can appreciate it and would be well worth a look by anyone who is looking for an exceptional LS400. this was not on auto trader for a couple of days - now its back - so didnt sell the first time round so has been relisted
