    hold fire ! - these cars always show low coolant when the engine is cold - I will upload a picture of coolant tank in the morning - compare it with yours before taking any action. On a side not you should never use anything in these cars apart from Toyota Red coolant. has the radiator been changed on yours?

    Its very rare for an LS to breakdown in this manner I would advise having a look at the battery connections, earths and electrical connections to the starter motor. I would also get the battery checked again - its not unusual for a weak battery to suddenly give up like this. I reckon it would be a simple fault to find and fix.

    I always leave my air con on - never had any condensation problems in my 55 plate 430

    Hi This sounds like the ride height sensors locking up on high setting - basically water ingress causes a short circuit within the sensors and you get the symptoms you describe. when this happens do you notice the rear sits very high? - if this is the case then the height sensors need replacing.

    Hi When this happened on my 430 it was the amplifier - which I got repaired - another thing which didn't work was the temperature up/down beeps - you could try this to confirm on your car. Also the 430 has a hidden menu which can be accessed through the screen I have found a similar one for the 460, - maybe you could check your handbook to see if your car has something similar.

    Best tyres for me are the current ones on my 430 Michelin Cross Climates Very quite, soft and forgiving which means the ride is very smooth, never had any grip issues and dragging on full lock

    On my 430 I keep the small on the instrument cluster on max but just before the click - this keeps the screen and the needles at a comfortable level day and night - I havent noticed if the screen changes colour or wether there is a dedicated day/night mode
