phils comment is true - the previous owners of my 430 never used the keyless entry/start on the car - he was a mature guy with no interest in tech. I on the other hand know everything works on my car except a duff front parking sensor. I always ring the seller and have a got lengthy (if possible) conversation about the car. i would say ring him

this is not exactly what you asked but i'll mention it anyway - my 430 has a basic Nokia CL 1W handsfree Carkit fitted and my 6s works without any problems

i've had my 430 for over 3 years and the only problems i have had is one parking sensor not working - door speaker blowing - fixed cheaply (£12) and the amp packing up which cost £285 to get repaired. other than that all the electrics work including the steering motors - no suspension problems either. Thats not to say the ls430 does'nt have it's weak spots, - it does such as radiator, suspension an steering motors. The Mark 4 400 is a very reliable car ( I owned 2) - but its not as refined as the the 430. I think everybody has different preferences, expectations and attitudes therfore will have a varied judgment of the two cars. My advice is take a lengthy test drive in both preferably one after the other and that way you will be able to compare and decide between the both.

years ago i saw an ls400 for sale - it has 2 tanks - one in the spare wheel well and a larger one sitting in the boot - just an idea for you

cant be good for the air suspension - i flick the switch often just to prevent things from seizing up and creating problems

well i have just checked the prices on ebay and comparing the 5l ones there is not much difference between concentrated and pre-mixed - surely then concentrated is a better buy right?
