  1. Hi i have the same message in mine - turns out to be an oxygen sensor - will be replaced shortly - car currently drivers fine though - hope this helps
  2. not for me - i will have the black mark 4 for £3100 anyday - but I don't need to as I have something better - an LS430 !
  3. nice colour interior and exterior - im not usualyy fan of modifications but this one does look nice - don't know the car though - sorry
  4. Hi a member in the LS forum had a similar problem on his 600h- it was found to be relay or similar component at fault - the dealer did misdiagnose incorrectly at first and replaced the seat base !! - thankfully it was a warranty job so the member was not out of pocket i would speak to the deaaler in the first instance
  5. there is avery decent looking blue one with grey leather for only 2K - lovely motor and a piece of history!
  6. yes i remember this one - i was disussed on this forum due to the mileage discrepancy on the mot record It came from mansell motors in birmingham
  7. second what steve said i had my 430 amp repaired by them - been a couple of years - no problem - on mine the power supply unit had packed up
  8. I would buy some double sided tape normally used for number plates - I have used it on my mycar and also a family members - once stuck it has a solid hold and even over comes curves which is the case with one of the cars front number plates - i think this would be more than adequate for badges hope this helps
  9. Can't really add any more - from the info posted above you should be getting a New battery fullstop. you say your car has FLSH - what about the Hybrid Health Check?
  10. this car has been listed on ebay - stated mileage is 272k - th clocks however show 81k - no mention of the descrepancy
  11. Kris - this is common fault on the GS450H and swapping the bulb often solves the problem - apprently due to the heat emitted it cuases wear on the connectors and this causes he malfunction - it might be wirth a try
  12. I remember those days ( not long ago) when we used to discuss different Mark 4s that came up for sale - not nowadays tho !! because there are hardly any up for sale . I have noticed one today on gumtree - gold - 88k with an asking price of £995 - needs a clean and the paintwork is a bit faded in places
  13. i look forward to your review - I do fancy the old shaped legends The mazda (brother in law had one) goes like a rocket - very nippy cars indeed
  14. Hi I also echo what others have said it is over priced but i think given the fact that the low mileage facelift ones are far and few in between the prices will creep up - this one looks stunning and with doubt it will sell. there is also that grey one with 77k for £8k - that one could be a better one becuase it gas radar guided cruise control - the silver one doesnt what ever you choose - good luck - ive had mine for nearly 4 years and enjoyed every bit of it regards
  15. Imagine if this was done to a vehicle every year prior to is MOT - that would totally fool the system
  16. Hugh I have never heard of a complete and sudden failure on the Mark 4 - we have had a few issues where the dash switches off due to a faulty ignition switch but otherwise havent heard anything. If it was working when it went in then clearly something happened while it was there - i would suggest removing the bettery - giving it a good charge - testing it for a full charge and then try it. sorry i cannot be any further help and hope you get it sorted soon and to your satisfaction
  17. they are advertising it n here aswell http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/motors-vehicle-details/41707614/
  18. yes - its been around for a while - 4 months i reckon - was mentioned on here - but has not been advertised on auto trader until now
  19. you see mark if you had bought a ls430 instead you wouldnt be having this problem now as they are air suspension! - lol hope you its sorted quickly and to your satisfaction.
  20. Hi LS430 is a brilliant car - i know i have one! The LS430 suspension is complicated business in the past a member had problems getting an independent to replace some suspension parts - they could not get the suspension to rise back up again because of some software or electrical glitch so really if you want piece of mind then the only route is take into the main dealer. If you want to save a bit of money on parts try getting a quote from Amayama.com - they will sell genuine parts at a discount I have a feeling the the misting comment could be an over kill because the suspension is reasonably reliable with a limited number of total failures - suspension controllers are more common failures due to water ingress - mainly on the pre facelift 430. I would take it to lexus and ask them to inspect the suspension and give an opinion - maybe even leave it and monitor it after cleaning it. mine has 135K with no suspension problems. Reference the interior boot release - make sure the key barrel is unlocked and not pushed in
  21. agree with gary and i think this approach has a better chance for positive results - hope it gets sorted soon and in a professional manner
  22. ive had a ls430 transported to me once by a company in northampton - it was bought on a trailor - if interested i can look up their details?
  23. hi this fault is not uncommon as you think - i have seen gs450hs for sale with 60k on the lock and already had the battery replaced - if you give richard a ring at hybrid battery solutions he will have all the answers for you Actually the 2.5k seems cheap for lexus - normally its around the 5k mark
