If you want it perfect then you will need to spray bumpers and boot lid - front brakes - Pagid dsics with ferrodo pads wont cost alot and i think once it has had a good valet it will look alot better especially the interior - blue is very smart colour - If I was looking I would go and have a look - if test drive goes well would offer £1k It was priced at £1500 originally but has been reduced to £1400

Still - at that price it was a bargain -
Been on sale atleast 6 months - dealer had some bad reviews also

This car came up on auto trader very briefly by the original private buyer - it only had one picture - price was £2950 i think - trader obviously saw the potential and snapped it up quick!

Definatley informative - I mean i was quite comfortable in my mind buying an LS460 with 100k miles but now I would think twice.

Hi Pete If you are not happy about it then nothing can change that - We have a 25k BMW in the family with every extra but I dont like it - I prefer my LS. And going by the time you posted on here you were loosing sleep over it lol!! so it can only be a good decision. Atleast you can say been there, done it and got the T shirt . . . . . . and my favourite mdel is . . . . . . . . . . ..

My Driver side dipped beam is not working - I have changed the bulb over (but not managed to plug it back into the headlight). The bulb still does not light - The next point of call maybe the headlight ballast - to access this I need to remove the headlight. Does anybody know wether this can be done without removing the bumper - the www gives conflicting information. Also if the bulb sparks before going out indicate a ballast fault? Any help would be appreciated.

the ls430 has a rear camera with the sun shade - it automatically retracts when reverse is selected I never use mine though!

really - i never knew that - so if I bought oil filter, air filter and cabin filter - I will get oil free?

lovely looking motor Identical to mine bar my leather is grey. Im still amazed at the quality of the paint and build - throw a bucket over it and it gleams - silver also also hides imperfections very well. Enjoy!

Hi pete What is exactly is failure of the struts - are they leaking oil like the GS ones? - If I understand it correctly air struts have air pumped into them to hold the car - if they are doing that then whats the problem?

I have never used the parking brake on all my 3 Lexus's - I do however apply the break once in a while just to keep the parts moving - same as the air suspension - i flick ii every say often to prevent things from seizing up
