    Hi Check fuses in drivers footwell for screen and also amplifier.     If you are referring to the steering resting in an angle - then this could possibly be resolved with a software update - this is what I have read on the USA forum. have you considered the LS430? compared to the 460 it has some advantages: Slightly better MPG Lower road tax Better aerodynamics and looks (IMO) The 6 speed gearbox in the 430 is considered better than the 8 speed in 460 - especially on local runs The 430 has better quality interior than the 460 - 460 suffers from worn interior pillars and faulty glovebox lids The 430 is quiter and engine smoother (general opinon of owners)

    Ever since I drove a BMW with one, I've always wanted one - and have actually bought 2 from ebay for my LS430. I have tried them and they work very well by plugging into the OBD port But I don't like the fact that you have to stick a film on the screen where the HUD projects - otherwise due to the screen lamination you get a fuzzy double display.     If your car is a 22 plate then I would let the dealer sort out. It is a rare and complex car and best left to the people that know it best. I would also query the high cost of clearing the code or does it include diagnostic charge?

    Hi The most accurate way to check the cause is plug in a code reader - this will give you a fualt code and description of fault. There is more than one reason for this e.g loose petrol cap or O2 sensor hope this helps

    If they have not worked since the replace then you could talk to your insurer or Autoglass. If they initially worked after the replacement then maybe the sensor has worked itself loose resulting in the malfunction. Lexus Auto wipers are very reliable tech - mine work perfectly on my 430

    are u going to own up to cleaning the leather with all doors open for extended hours therfore causing the battery drain?

    Years ago I had to replace the rear cover of one of my mirrors - I had to remove the mirror glass from the front using brute force - If I remember correctly this only gives access to the heating and mirror adjustment side of things. - y gut feeling is you may need to remove the mirror from the door for full access - this will mean removing the door card - which is very easy on the LS430.
