  1. There are two options to do it. Either take it to a dealer and get them to programme it (if (big if) they will programme a used part) OR obtain the Toyota software and do it yourself - i've never tried this but seen videos of it being done. Hope this helps
  2. Last 2 times I have found oponeo to be better on price that black circles Camskill are also very competitive
  3. in the LS430 the seat positioning can be linked to the key so if the memory positions are altered on the next unlock everything gets re-adjusted automatically
  4. There is a chap on here who has a LS600h and his drivers seat heaters was intermittently switching off - Lexus replaced the seat base including the leather - however later on it turned out to be a relay 🤣 - so he ended up with a new base all done under warranty - I believe his is a 09 plate car.
  5. That's good info - so the car is actually level - it just appears that way due to the size of the arches
  6. Have you seen this - its not genuine but looks similar with the lip around the edge? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TAILORED-PVC-BOOT-LINER-MAT-TRAY-Lexus-GS-450h-2005-2011/400801732163?_trkparms=aid%3D555017%26algo%3DPL.CASSINI%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D55148%26meid%3D12917a4a2f084827ad591da92c460795%26pid%3D100505%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D1%26%26itm%3D400801732163&_trksid=p2045573.c100505.m3226
  7. the pieces holding bulbs within the headlight are normally of similar shape?
  8. Just to add that normally the air compressor pump is inaudible. When going to view cars ask if the suspension sinks overnight to indicate a leaking strut. On a level ground with the engine running if you flick the suspension switch from low to high the car should slowly rise about 2 - 4 inches. Hope this helps
  9. Am I right in saying there is a lot of talk of shock absorber issues to look out for? - or is it another model?
  10. Well there is an ECU bolted to the amp - i'm not sure if it controls just the sensors or the camera aswell (or just the camera) you need to do a bit of research and if your is missing you may need to source that too
  11. That’s correct - are your parking sensors working because the control module is bolted onto the amp?
  12. Here are the pics - had to recharge my camera battery as I hadn't used it in ages
  13. Both those part numbers are incorrect - the correct part number for the facelift is 86280-0W250 - this is a rare amp where did you look for the amp in the car? I will upload some pics of the amp later
  14. Just noticed the Toyota Logo - so it actually came from a Celsior? and not a Lexus
  15. Very nice - really completes the interior look. What's the round rocker switch for - rear foglight?
  16. Apec seem to be abit behind compared to other manufacturers - i've had Pagid discs on mine for 3 years and they are as new due to the anti rust coating - there are some signs appearing on the edges between the fins - I've just bought a small tin of silver hammerite which I intend to use on the rust. I also have bought a some rear discs costing £60 and they also have a anti rust coating.
  17. I think these are cars he takes in as part exchange hence why he has another for sale immediately
  18. Well I have been looking into this - if you can source a good used part (most cost effective) then it is possible to remove and replace the base. One person done it and detailed it here: http://www.o2bandrea.com/pokrefke//Lexus/WebPage/index.html
  19. Svt services in Edinburgh repair ls430 amps - you will have to remove the amp and send it to them- I had mine repaired by them about 4 years ago
  20. I Have never had the need to have a cambelt done at the dealers but I have often come across posts here on LOC which mentioned dealers doing a cambelt change for £295 or £100 extra to include the Water pump - I always thought this was a very good price considering its the main dealer. Now we know this is not the case and to get both the cambelt and water pump replaced at the dealers would cost just shy of £680 and that still does not include the tensioners. As mentioned by other members it is best to go to an independent for this job - ideally a Japanese Specialist.
