In reponse to one of your points - I recently bought a 60k mile LS430 and the radio sound system was very rarely used in it and I noticed the sound difference straght away compared to my 167k mile LS430 - the treble sound is very clean and crisp and the bass is also clearer and more punchy

I repaired mines on my previous 430 a few years back:

hopefully it won't be too expensive - the electronics are quite robust on these cars

Thats alot of dismantling to replace a bulb - I hope I don't have to do that one day 🤞

My 430 with 167k also had a clean sheet back in April Given mechanical failures are very scarce on these vehicles , I do wonder why some of them end up in scrap yards or get broken up

Hi Abid Can you not piggybank off one of the fuses in the drivers footwell?

Hi I didnt realise there was enough cable there to connect wrong way round. I would suggest the following: 1) Disconnect battery - leave for 10 minutes and then try again 2) Buy a code reader and check for codes - the bluetooth ones on ebay work on these cars 3) Check for blown fuses 4) If all else fails then it needs to be seen by an auto electrician/garage Hope this helps and you get her sorted soon

Update: Ordered Power Steering Cooler Pipe from Rock Auto on Thursday and it arrived today via Fedex - all fitted and back to normal - straight forward swap Below are pictures of the old and new pipe Rock Auto speed of delivery was amazing ! - I ordered oil for my car on the same day and both arrived today
