    I've done fettling before- but not at that level - looking good. It never occured to me that the petrol tank sits between boot and rear seats.

    Actually thats very helpful - I did'nt know it had cutouts for the cargo net - something which I use alot.

    I recently bought pads for my LS430 and they didnt come with the shims - I bought them from Lexus Parts Direct I know they have the shims listed seperatley for the LS range - they also have them listed here for the CT: Brakes/Transmission Parts & Accessories — Lexus Parts Direct

    Great looking car - rare aswell given the condition, age, mileage and features I also took the same route (no on my second 430) - unfortunatey mine has picked up many surface scratches whilst just parked on the road which bugs me everytime I look at it! enjoy!

    I think the £10 option is an amazing price and difficult to ignore considering the big price difference between the 2 parts.

    Glad you are sticking to lexus. Have worked by way through the Lexus LS range - on my 2nd 430 in the last 10 years. Can't see myself driving anything else.

    I've only recently realised they have reduced the sugar content in chocolate - walkers and mccoys have also reduced salt in their crisps - a treat is longer the same any more

    Oh the LS430 and 400 they simply pop off - maybe it’s the same on the GS

    The dash lights going out points a worn ignition switch - Sits on the other end of the igntiion barrell - not too difficult to replace. You could minotor it and see how bad the problem is - I replaced mine many years ago and pretty sure "ambermarine" done his aswell lookig forward to some pictures . . . .

    The guys on the LS forum have good things to say about Denso ones which come on offer here and there on Euro Car Parts My current LS came with bosch ones which have been fine for over 18 months
