Hi
I would be very surprised if they are different
Plenty of LS owners (including me) have bought from ebay and have not had any issues.
Go for the autodoc ones
I would concure with Steve
I remember unplugging the amplifier on my 430 and it blew the fuse and I never thought of the fuse and drove around for months without music lol
I'n not certain what is the truth here:
A mechanic local to me would'nt an aftermarket sensor to my previous one because of the reason you have mentioned above.
The previous owner of my current 430 fitted a cheap sensor and it has worked fine.
I have read that some code reading machines upset the Lexus electrics causing the EML to come on - whch could be the problem as opposed to the actual part.
My driving is always short local runs and my 430 never fails to start - even lately when we had sub zero temperatures in the morning.
My current battery which came with the car when I bought the car is a non-brand (no markings) and I have not had any problems this being the second winter with this car.
On my previous LS430 I fitted an Exide battery which came with 4 years warranty - I had no problems with that for the 2 odd years I had it.
You could possibly switch off the keyless entry function which could help.
Othrwise follows johns advice above.
yes - prices for the mark 4 were slowly getting close to the 10k mark - now they are around 16/17k!
I would want a white or silver one with cream leather with ideally under 100k miles
The aux input has definatey been done:
Factory Radio Service aux-in on 2000 LS400 - Page 3 - ClubLexus - Lexus Forum Discussion
It also mentions some sort of isolator to get rid of hiss
Hi
I had this problem on my 430 - I purchased new bulbs bu that mae no difference - turned out to be the ballast - IIRS your car Xenons - could this be the ballast?
On the 430 the ballast is secured to the under side of the headlight
hope this helps
