    Have a look through the archives - if this is the same pump as found on the GS450h then there is a repair which if done by yourself will only cost around £20 - basically it is a bearing failing within the pump. If this is a different problem then hopefully someone with a bit knowledge will be along shortly.

    I done mine over 10 years ago. If i remember correctly you have to remove the lower steering cowl, lower dash trim and air duct. Its very cramped in there - a flexible bit like the one below will help becuase the screws are facing the rear of the car. You just need to be methodical - once you have located the switch its fairly straight forward.

    Hi - this is a worn or faulty ignition switch - it’s located at the back of the ignition barrel.

    In the past I have bought non-brand ones from ebay and they have worked fine - too strong infact

    My brother had a 6 year old accord a few years back and we noticed alot of surface rust in the engine bay and under side of bonnet.

    Hi - that is perfectly normal and has been discussed here before: also remember the front aches are larger than than the rear. Worth noting as mentioned in the above discussion is that the ride height can be manually adjusted - ry to find a post by haylands

    I've done fettling before- but not at that level - looking good. It never occured to me that the petrol tank sits between boot and rear seats.

    Actually thats very helpful - I did'nt know it had cutouts for the cargo net - something which I use alot.

    I recently bought pads for my LS430 and they didnt come with the shims - I bought them from Lexus Parts Direct I know they have the shims listed seperatley for the LS range - they also have them listed here for the CT: Brakes/Transmission Parts & Accessories — Lexus Parts Direct
