I have done some googling on this and found that this is a common problem on the LS and GS. I haven't found a definative answer however the following seem to be the areas where the problem could lie: Low coolant Blocked matrix Faulty/seized air blend flap If I find anything concrete I will update

Hi Shafiq It means either, the air suspension has been converted to springs or it maybe one of the handful "non air suspension" LS430s that came to the UK - these were pre-facelift models and did not have the wooden steering either. do you have a link to the car?
