Busy day for you Matt :) ... hope all goes well with the sale.
Would be nice to see you if you could make it, regardless of a Lexus :) :)
I am off to wash the car as well.
Oh by the way she passed the MOT lol ... so I will have a Lexus at the meeting!
Cheers
Vasilis.

It is the last car park ... which is for the imax cinema.
If the weather is nice we should be on the top level open air.
If the weather is bad we should be on the lower level :)

Hi guys,
I have sent the message to everyone with my number.
If anyone for any reason hasn't received it please let me know and I will send it.
For some reason I could not send a group message and I have to send it one by one.
Cheers

As the others said :) a banter, look at others cars, mods etc, have a chance to put a face to a name is the most important thing :)
I will send my number to all of you tonight with a PM.
Tomorrow is the big day for the "old girl" lol GS, goes in for MOT.
-
hahaha. Indeed.
You did take some nice pictures the last time Ganesh :)
Thanks Chris for the steps of getting there :)
Wouldn't think a couple of pints, and midday would be a good combo lol, I will most likely be around bluewater and see about a "beer" place lol.

What we did last time we met in the multi-story car park, it was sheltered
at least, in case it had rain etc.And then we all went for doughnuts and coffee inside, there are plenty of
options.
But finding a pub in a shopping mall.... might be a challenge lol.
Here is where met last time
We parked where the green mark was, well close to that space.

Shame about the date, i'll be in California!
Would have been interested myself.
A shame Keith, but I bet you will enjoy California :) now I am jealous lol, we shall try and make a September meeting.
I'm still in, meeting in the multi storey same place as last time? (still gutted I was parked 50ft away from you lot last time and didn't know)
Perfect Matt :) I will pass on my number to all of you via PM a couple of days before the meet date so we can coordinate better.
I am nervous as the GS300 MOT expires 14th of June, I will book it for a retest before then, but my ABS intermitent problem worries me. The lights are off now... but who know if they come on at the MOT test lol ... I will be the only Lexus owner at the meeting without a Lexus!!!! lol

Yes it is the 16th of August (Saturday) and 13:00.
-
Anyone else joining guys? :)
-
Best call them and see who is the closest to you.
The one I went to was in London/Essex borders, purely they were the closest to me.
But make sure you want your car that lowered before you go ahead and order anything.. :)
Some pictures to get an idea how much the sportline springs lowered the car with the stock shocks
-
I am planning tomorrow to remove the sensor and put in the torch inspect the teeth while I rotate the wheel.
It just seems strange that two different ABS sensors and the same problem still exists.
Fingers crossed it will be something stuck in there ... and once taken out it will fix my problem.
Let's see .... :)

Chris were you inspired by the promotional video? lol

Hello guys,
Ongoing problems with the ABS / Brakes on my GS300 (s2)
Since we bought the car more less a year now, there has been an over sensitive ABS ... around 15mph, likes to engadge and either think to put on the ABS or the TCS. If you accelerate past that speed the car is perfect with no problems.
The brake pump unit has been replaced. Since then plugged in a snap on readed and showed the the R Rear speedsensor has signals problems.
I though thar RR would be the driver side rear??? OS side.
So ordered a used hub with a compete sensor on it ... removed the sensor from the used hub, and installed it on my car. Exactly the same symptoms as before. ... 15mph and the ABS/TCS goes crazy.
Any ideas? has anyone else experienced the problem?
Cheers
Vasilis.

sportcross suspension is unique to sportcross, the rear end at least.
So if you try to match the saloon to a sportcross I do not think you will have much of success.
-
ouch well they were expensive... lol
They were the Eibach sportline and they did cost me about £290 or £300+ for all 4 cannot remember exactly.
As I paid a deposit to start with and then .... paid the rest almost 3 months after when they arrived.
Eibach could not get an order directly so they guided me to one of their suggested retailers and I placed the order via them.

You will need to have the final setup of the car before you do tracking.
I did not realise you wanted to lower the car.
If you plan to lower it etc the hold until you replace the components before you do tracking.
Eitherwise if you want to see how stable the car can be with the current setup, do it now :)
-
They might ask you to mask the peak sport on the lights, the problem is that the 1st gen of IS, don't use the projector lights the newer models have, so I think they might require a beam cut off tape, or change of the lights.
They might not be as strict as VOSA is ... so they might find them ok ;)
-
The shock absorbers and the rear springs are different to the sportcross than the saloon IS300.
When I was trying to buy springs for my IS300 sportcross to lower, I had to have a special order with Eibach and wait for 3 months for the springs to arrive from Eibach USA as a special order from Eibach UK.
The codes were unique to the sportcross.
I would strongly suggest you to have a good tracking with WIM... as mine was all over the place when I bought the car, once I done an all around laser tracking, the car was transformed. But WIM know how to use their equipement. Unlike some popular chains that have no idea on how to use the settings.

hahaha good one Stuart ;) lol the Universe revolves around youu hey... lol
Cheers then guys 13:00 it is then on the 16th of August.
-
It will be busy :) but I am sure we could work something out :)
so what time would suit best? shall we say 13:00?
Also we will need to work out the car park location, trying to get the most empty spaces :)
-
Hi Malcolm,
The last time we organised it from 18:00 and onwards. Purely as we had members coming from 50-60miles away.
Do you guys think that 18:00sh would be a good time?
Cheers
