I made contact about it in the Autumn of 2023, finally got a reply and the guy who has a small independent car front , his mate was selling the car but using is company details 🤔 I asked for his mate to contact me but never did . Then over the next few months it would disappear from sale, then reappear again , same advert and photo’s but not on the guys for court . All very odd ! Done an HPI check.. 7 owners, 7 plate changes, max ownership was 3 years , others a year ,some less.

Well if you can’t get the boot trim out after buying this kit !😁😁

With all the boot trim out the aerial is easy to get too ….maybe strip down and lubricant or look for a pattern aerial that may fit .

Yes will do the job, I have a similar one but ground the head a little smaller, as the push trim clips are recessed.

My personal preference to quality would be .. genuine LEXUS Close second ..GATES then BLUEPRINT ADL

That would be a peace of mind for customers, trouble is they would probably go with cheap pattern parts . I would prefer money off get it done to a good standard 👍🏻

Sequence.. Pull off plastic slam panel trim with Lexus logo on it. Tool tray out. Rear panel you modified out, 1/4 pockets each side out (look for water leak at bottom while you are there). Roller blind out, pop round caps, 10mm behind it . Main boot floor carpet , undo chrome luggage hooks. Unbolt plastic housings that support roller blind when having roof down…star bolt under big rubber stopper..Unclip wiring cable n/s. Pop out all the trim clips on side panels, trick to get out needs a push and a squeeze…unclip boot lights. Might be possible to lift covers and not remove but feel thry could get damaged/distorted. Note..rubber drain pipe just rests in the arches.

The whole interior has to come out . Not a difficult job and will save you an hour of your mechanics time if you do it.

I would have a look at the ABS reluctor rings on the driveshafts before you buy any of the other parts . Can show up as a ABS pulsate from the pedal just before you stop .

Every car must have some leeway on the sticker price 🤔

The judder/pulsate you mention, does it happen through the pedal just before you come to a stop ? water leak in boot..take light units out and clean muck out of gully. Then use some sealer around the white push in lamp locator pins, and maybe the cable as it goes through the body .

Excellent news you bought the kalahari sand vehicle 👏🏻👏🏻 I liked that vehicle as it was a rare colour, we chatted about it on here a few weeks back . Some people are over the moon with the copy sat/nav disc, I also bought one back in 2018 but it started playing up, the seller gave me a refund .

Congratulations on your new purchase ….got a photo of her ? Now to be very honest with you the SC430 sat/nav is not that good compared with a tomtom or google maps on your phone. If you want a newer sat/nav disk it can be found in the boot , right hand side, pull grey cover off, slide the left switch over and press the button. The disc will slide out and if like my 2007 SC, the disc will be around the same age . New disk from Lexus several hundred pounds. a copy disc off eBay ..hit and miss if they work ! It does appear to have its own part number. What year is your SC ? I’ll try see if the part is sold separately. …..looked at your previous post a 2004 👍🏻

Would that be from the plastic being split or maybe an O ring underneath ?
