  1. Clutching at straws but I wonder if this unit has gone bad ? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/190792261572
  2. Don’t feel bad about not having a Crown….it mean … we don’t get out much and spend too much on the forum !😁😁
  3. Do you have a plan of action now ?
  4. Difficult to work out the possible reserve price, he could be looking for 5k or even 6-7k🤔
  5. I wasn’t watching it but I am now !😁
  6. Couldn’t tell you I went on a sleeper train 😉
  7. Would Austria be a good motoring holiday ?
  8. It’s had a respray…so that could be anything from a trade blowover to sell…or a 5k+ all trim all panels off job 🤔
  9. Not that it’s that relevant as it’s not a home address but the tyre shop on the other side of the road looks like its called DALIN CAR CARE…can be looked up on Google maps to give an idea of vehicles location.
  10. Only missed one mot in 2014. Could be a very genuine and clean example 👍🏻
  11. Looking at the mot history between 2008 to 2015 its done 103 miles total😮, so it had an easy life 😉 Currently no tax or mot .
  12. Looks good with the wheel spacers on…fills out the archs 👍🏻 Agree about photo location …why not do them at home 🤔🤔
  13. Well done…what are the new owners going to do with ?
  14. Just tried to find it ..has it sold already (just being nosy) 😉
  15. Off the GOV mot site…. Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) The inspection of the tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) is for M1 vehicles first used on or after 1 January 2012. The TPMS warning lamp (see diagram 3) will generally illuminate and go off again when the ignition is switched on. If the system has identified a previous pressure loss, the lamp will remain illuminated. This does not automatically mean the system has a malfunction. In the event of a system malfunction, the lamp may flash a number of times and then remain on. Warning messages on dashboard displays are not a defect in their own right, but may assist the tester in determining that the warning lamp is illuminated because a malfunction exists. If it is unclear the warning lamp is indicating a system malfunction and not a simply indicating that one or more tyre pressures are low, then advisory information should be added to the test result.
  16. Indeed 2012 was the year the TPMS would have fail on the mot test …sadly some testers are not upto speed with the regulations. My car failed on the TPMS light in 2016 which it shouldn’t have, would of have a totally clear mot history other than that 😠 Not read the regulations this year….will go take a peak 👍🏻
  17. I would have no idea what a good respray costs these days ☹️
  18. Not a subject I know much about but this article says that the vehicle needs to detect a certain resistance from the 12v battery to allow it to charge correctly . https://www.torquenews.com/8113/why-toyota-prius-12v-auxiliary-battery-costs-so-much Also have a read of this thread on here…… https://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/127508-new-battery-for-rx450h/
  19. Well now you’re almost in your 40’s Graham !! , it was time to get something more sensible 😉😉
  20. Here’s an example of the inconsistency in SC430 values , same year, similar mileages…
  21. Is the Jazz a good Continental cruiser ?
  22. Could try swapping the front wheels to the back and backs to front , to rule out wheels buckled.
  23. It’s the first year of ownership with my SC430 today, many jobs fixed and a few Bob spent, enjoying several car shows and pleased with the comments received on her condition 😎 Number one comment "you don’t see many of them about now " and that’s very true 👍🏻
  24. The electrical diagram says it’s in the boot. Guy on another forum years ago had a very bad battery drain, and after stripping the boot trim out found two dealer fit trackers still working. Took them out and things got better but still not right. He found the alarm in the boot on the nearside , very hidden among the roof linkage. Once he took that corroded alarm battery out he had no more drain…he just left it out .
  25. …this was one of mine before removing battery , if you want to try matching up a battery with tags.
