  1. I have the similar, but never had to use since I bought it. The only thing I used during lockdown was a smart charger as that was extreme non-use of the car.
  2. Same here. I had my Prius for over seven years and never had an Issue with the 12v battery. I am a low mileage user too, the car only had 23,000 miles when I sold it and it still had the original 12v battery.
  3. My app still logs in etc. and shows ✅ for status, but last updated at 09:03 this morning after my trip to the shops, but due to the issue did not record the journey. I will be interested to see if the journeys are stored somewhere in the car and maybe uploaded when all is well again…. One can hope 🤔
  4. Lexus are currently having issues with one of their servers which has caused issues with the Lexus Link+ app over the last 48 hours or so. I would imagine your issue is connected to that. Lexus are aware and are working hard to rectify the issue.
  5. When I had my Prius the dealer was selling solar panels that plugged into the ODB port under the dash, then the panel sat on the dashboard and got enough charge to keep the battery topped up. No good for me though as my cars live in the garage. Maybe that would work for you. Personally I never had any battery issues in the 7 years I had my Prius and I only do around 3,000 miles a year.
  6. Yes, that’s the same as I mentioned about interior lights, but I think the OP was using accessory mode and not ready mode and that’s what causes the issue.
  7. I was referring to everything in the car/media display showing normal. I rarely use the remote locking, but have just tried it now and it does not work, but the App is correctly reporting open/closed doors OK and shows OK on status green tick ✅ . The status last updated was 09:03 which is when I turned off the car after my first trip today.
  8. Just got home and I checked the media screen and the two data arrows are blue as normal, but DCM is not illuminated which I cannot remember if it normally is? My profile is logged in everything is working as normal, just my journeys have nit been logged.
  9. Used the car for the first time since Tuesday and my journey has shown up yet. I will be interested if they show up once their issue is sorted as I really enjoy analysing my journeys 🤔
  10. I helped a friend move house this week and my NX spent a lot of time with the tailgate and rear doors opened whilst I loaded it with various items and I had no issues. After approx 10 minutes the interior lights automatically turn off just like several of my cars before it did. Opened and closed the tailgate several times too. I did this about three times during the day and all was well. If I am sat in the car doing any changes to menus etc. I will always put the car in ready mode and press the EV button to stop the ICE starting, but I didn’t do that with the various loading/ unloading trips I did. I did have my jump pack with me just in case. I am not sure why some cars seem to have issues and others do not. As it has been said many times here, anytime you are sat in the car using radio etc. always put it in Ready mode.
  11. It refers to the engine technology. VVT = variable valve timing, the i for injection and I suspect the E is a reference to the hybrid technology.
  12. I’ve seen non OEM trim like that on eBay and they are self adhesive, so I would imagine the originals would be the same. Lexus parts direct is a good source of original parts if you don’t fancy knock off ones. https://lexuspartsdirect.co.uk/shop/?make=317&model=341
  13. I don’t think the OP is going to find anything interesting under the sound proofing except the underside of the bonnet, but maybe I’m missing something 🤔
  14. As @HPS13 suggested, you need a set of these. Trim Removal Tools I have them and they work pretty well, for your use, use the forked one.
  15. Putting it over the top will not work as the bruise/scab part would still be visible. Yes David just said above about a hair dryer, so that maybe a thought, just don’t want to damage the paint or the ceramic coating.
  16. Thank you i found the below video which makes it look easy, but I’m sure that isn’t the first time he has done it. Not an NX, but very similar film size/shape. Think I am more concerned with getting the current one off.
  17. I was helping someone move house today and despite transporting three car loads of items without issue, right at the end of the day I clipped the bumper with a plastic box and just caught the edge of the bumper protection film. I was exhausted and didn’t quite lift them high enough. To say I was annoyed is an understatement. It did its job and protected the bumper which is good I guess. I tried to flatten it out , but it’s kind of stretched and has gone white. I managed to cut of the ‘bruised’ white part so it looks a bit better. My question is how easy is it to take the film off and put a new one on? I have found a genuine item on eBay for £25, but I’m not sure I feel confident enough to do it myself. I guess Lexus could do it or maybe a third party person? Advice greatly received.
  18. Thought that’s what it would be. That was the first thing I did as it sounded so awful, plus changed the default password in the app too.
  19. Do you have the Lexus dashcam fitted? Mine was fitted as part of the deal and that made an awful tinny noise on startup and shutdown. I disabled it in the dashcam app.
  20. Ordered 😄 Thanks very much for your help.
  21. Just checked this out and they look great. Did you have any issue with extra duty/VAT charges?
  22. Were these the lights you ordered? https://amzn.eu/d/bwVwJkJ I have just returned these as although they had the correct connector, they were very deep and fouled on wiring in the door. I didn’t want to force them as did not want to get them stuck. They were very good, nice and clear, just too bulky. Like many listing they list most Lexus models except they NX. I know others have said they have done the same and they fitted, so it was worth a go.
  23. EV’s are currently exempt from the luxury car tax until 31/3/25. From April 25 they will have to pay it, so if you are thinking of getting an EV, get it before the cut off date.
