  1. Can you not turn off the auto high beam and just rely on manual changing them with the stalk? That's what I do in my Gen 4 Prius (turn off auto high beam button) as like you say, sometimes you want high beams on at lower speed. Having said that, mine seem to work above 25mph and not 40mph, which does seem high.
  2. You could buy yourself a smart charger and save all the worry. I purchased the one below during the lockdown and it looked after the 12v battery on my Prius really perfectly. Less than £30 is a bargain for peace of mind. Maypole 7423A Battery Charger Auto Electronic 4A 12V https://amzn.eu/d/i4KrH4C Still use it now if I’m not going to use the car for a couple of weeks. My battery is now over 5 years old and it’s still going working perfectly. I also have a small jump pack in my glove box, just it case I need it whilst I’m away from home.
  3. It’s just that reason that I decided not to go ahead with a UX Takumi order. With a Year plus waiting list, it could only be another year or so after taking delivery before a brand new UX ‘could’ be in the works. If I could pick a MY23 UX now or in March I would go for it, but I don’t want order and just before delivery details/spy shots of a new model surface 😏 it seems the days of waiting 10-12 weeks for a car are over 🤔
  4. I test drove a UX the other weekend and I found the engine cut out just as much as my Gen 4 Prius. Had the AirCon on 22 Auto, just like I do in my Prius.
  5. My 2016 Prius has been serviced at Hedge End since new and I cannot fault their service. This is even when I purchased it from another dealer for a better price. My personal plate has never been an issue either. With that in mind, when I do get my UX, probably next year, I would be more than happy if Toyota were to service it.
  6. Also, if you find your discs get a build up that doesn’t clear under normal driving you can put the car in neutral and give the brakes a few sharp jabs. Putting it in neutral disables the regenerative braking and gives you full mechanical braking, it also help to stop your callipers seizing.
  7. I get this on my car sometimes and it’s usually when a passenger doesn’t ensure the seatbelt buckle is put back neatly and it chatters against the B pillar. Once I straighten the belt out, it’s all good again.
  8. In a very quick search I found over £400 at one broker for the 300h and high £300's on the 200t
  9. They all come with LED DRL's but there are two different types. On most models they run underneath the headlamp and are split into two parts buy the dip beam projector. Its only on the top of the range Premier version where they are in a single strip due to the Premier's having LED dip beams instead of halogen. Most Models - Split by Projector Premier - Continuous
  10. I reset the trip when I had a test drive and I got just over 31mpg and that was on gentle back roads with 30-40mph limits. I tend to drive like Miss Daisy too. To say I was disappointed was an understatement and the ride was another disappointment too. Such a shame.
