  1. The juddering only happens at slow speed or when lightly touching the brakes. In most normal driving it is not noticeable.
  2. It's a really strange slow puncture. It didn't deflate at all whilst driving, only goes down over night!
  3. Thanks Rayaan. Yes I did have the screen changed. Um, could be related. Am going to get Lexus to have a look at the brakes as it's still under warranty. Need a new tyre too as have a slow puncture! And the boot occasionally doesn't open fully. Hope I've not bought a lemon!
  4. Just got back from a trip round Scotland and noticed that when braking very gently or coming to a stop there seems to be a very slight juddering as if the abs is operating very slightly. It makes it difficult to come to a smooth stop. Is this normal and something to do with the regeneration thing? I also had the tyre monitoring light come on. When I checked the pressures on the dash. None were showing. After I switched off and on again all was ok. Has anyone else experienced this? Also, a couple of times the wipers sudden stopped wiping in mid sweep whilst in auto mode. As soon as I flipped the stalk down all seemed ok. Anything to worry about?
  5. Well, I don't know what I was worried about. All went well, the fitter was a really nice competent guy who explained all the process and didn't seem irritated when answering my stupid questions! Would definitely recommend auto windscreens.
  6. Update is that it's not being done today because the part is not yet available. The lady I spoke with said it's on order from Lexus and should arrive tomorrow. Will be interesting to see if it's marked as Lexus or Pilkington. All being well it'll be fitted Friday morning at home with me present! The lady at Auto Windscreens has been really helpful and has kept me up to date with progress. Let's hope the fitter is as efficient as her! Here's a picture of the current screen!
  7. That's good to know. I thought something may be leaking but couldn't see anything on the drive.
  8. Thanks Steve, interesting read. Two things spring to mind. Firstly I was told that my new screen is made by pilkington, who apparently make original screens for many manfactures. I don't think any major car company actually make their own screens. My previous car, an IS 220d, had a pilkington screen on it so must have been replaced at some point. The seal at the top was not fitted correctly and gave me a bit of wind noise. Don't think that will be a problem in the GS as there's no rubber seal on top. Finally Steve I approve your musical taste!
  9. I'm in two minds about the auto wipers. Sometimes they are perfect for the conditions and sometimes they are a mind of their own. Just put a tescos finest lasagne in the oven Hope they seal the screen as well as the film on top of the meal tray!
  10. I tried to do that after reading about it in the manual but couldn't move it. Looks like you need a fair bit of force?
  11. I'm not going to be around when they do it. Am getting worried now! I guess if they get the wiper wrong it's an easy fix for me to do.
  12. Oh dear, I'm not going to be around when they do it! They know the make, model and number plate and have ordered the screen for it. I'm assuming they've ordered the right one.
  13. Hi all, Having a new windscreen fitted tomorrow due to a large stone hitting it last Friday. Is there something I should keep my eyes on when they're fitting it? Am worried about the auto wipers and head up display not working afterwards. Thanks, Alan
  14. Hi all, still loving driving the GS. However, I've noticed a squeaking creaking from under the bonnet when I've switched off. Any idea what it is and is it normal? Thanks, Alan
  15. I've never used the online thing as I'm a bit of a luddite so don't think it can be that!
  16. Hi James, I can't find where this is in the menus to turn off. Which menu is it in? Thanks
