You're criticising someone for making assumptions yet that is all you have been making. Let's wait and see what actually materialises when it is released. This thread has annoyed me as up till now I've always found this forum a friendly place full of rational people who appreciate their lexuses. I love my GS and am sad to see it's demise but am looking forward to what comes next. I'll make my judgement once I've had the chance to drive it. -
Most people wouldn't know the difference and that is fine as most people don't spend most of the time on the limit. I love my GS because it is a beautiful well made car which is comfortable and does exactly what I want - a car which I can get out of after a long journey feeling fresh and relaxed. If I want to have a blast I drive my McLaren..........

So much of it doesn't make sense. I've only got to leave mine for a few weeks without washing before green stuff starts to show on the window rubbers and don't talk to me about birds**t!

Every time I drive it. I use the tpms on the dash. It's in bars rather than PSI but can go up .2 of a bar between cold and warm weather. -
In a Merc you need to put it in neutral to get in on the back of a tow truck!🤣

Not sure about the RX but my GS has a hold button. You have to turn it on every time I start but it means when I come to a halt in stop start traffic I can take my foot off the brake pedal and don't have to set the handbrake.

Had it confirmed by my local Lexus dealer today that they've stopped making the GS for the UK and it will be replaced by a fwd vehicle probably called ES. Apparently it will be announced in September.

That's interesting. I had a slow puncture on my rear nearside tyre last year. Was told it was a nail in the sidewall so bought a new tyre. Still have a slow puncture on the same wheel just not as quick. Maybe have the same issue! How much did it cost to sort out?

Go into settings on the main screen and it should be in there if I remember correctly.

4) mine seems to be dimmer when I have the dash lights dimmer. 5) there are three settings, one where the seat doesn't move (only the steering wheel) , one where it goes back a bit ( useful for my portly belly) and one where it goes all the way back (not sure how fat you need to be for this setting to be of any use!)

I used to think the same but have found that if you give the accelerator a quick dab it seems to switch off the hold function allowing smooth departure. I find it really useful in stop start traffic.

Mine are semi-analine apparently. I like to clean and condition them every couple of weeks. Is this a problem?

Looks great. I think the wood looks better with tan/ivory interior but yours looks better with the grey.

Love my GS premier. The seats are amazing. Really like the fact you can set the memory to the key so the seats get into position when opening the door. Great with the size difference between me and the missus. The interior quality is so much better than the xf. It may not be as good as the Jag 'on the limit' but who really does that? It's most relaxing cruiser I've ever had and in sport+ not bad on windy b roads either!

I've got a fair bit of tread on mine. They're Dunlops. Could be a harder compound.

Beautiful sunny day yesterday and as expected Lexus couldn't find a fault. They checked the motor, looked for leaks, cleaned some things and adjusted the wipers. I'm now hoping for some heavy rain to see if it happens again!

That's interesting. Had my screen changed last year before it started happening. I wonder if that will affect any warranty claim?

Have done that and showed them today. Have it booked in tomorrow for them to look at. Had a nice play with the new LS today whilst I was there!
