  1. I know you can disable the seats from moving when you switch off but don't know if this disables the steering wheel as well. It's somewhere in the general settings I think.
  2. I used some bog standard t-cut on the wife's Honda and they came up a treat. I believe I need to put some protection on them to prevent the haze coming back but not sure what to use.
  3. I'll PM my bank details @Flytvr
  4. TLP is great if you right your car off the day before it runs out!
  5. Did someone pass wind?
  6. Will need to Google that!
  7. blat blat/ NORTH AMERICANinformal verb 1. make a bleating sound. "horsemen on ugly steeds, grunting and blatting and howling" 2. travel quickly. "blatting down the motorway" noun 1. a bleat or similar noise. "the blat of Jack's horn" Take your pick from the above!
  8. GS for real Lexus quality and reliability.
  9. Or chop your toes off!
  10. I was wondering what may happen to used value of the GS once production ceases of the GS for the UK. Do members think it may increase due to lack of supply against demand or do you think they will drop due to it being an unwanted obsolete vehicle?
  11. I'm not sure now. All I know is that I get cold sir straight away and the temperature seems to change when I change the AC temp.
  12. I feel I'm missing out on something now!
  13. I believe you use the mechanical key bit to release it.
  14. I might be wrong, and am sure someone will correct me, but I believe they are some kind of plastic rather than glass so possible that they crack rather than chip
  15. "If any appear to be deflated yet undamaged you should try to re-inflate them to the correct pressure and reset the TPMS (see subheading below)." I had a slow puncture last year whilst on a touring holiday in Scotland where I was losing .5 and .7 bar overnight on one tyre. I just pumped it each morning and never reset anything. Didn't seem to cause a problem. Also in the table it says that the GS reset is in the software menu but in my handbook it states that I have a button somewhere behind the steering wheel.
  16. Mine is on a button on the steering wheel. Scroll through and on of the settings says eco meter or something like that. Would go and check but champions league final is my priority at the moment!
  17. Exactly. It states this quite clearly in the handbook.
  18. If it's like my GS there should be a setting somewhere where you can have the rev counter showing all the time. Mine is on the dash settings rather than the ice ones.
  19. Only if they are aware that it has been in an accident. But yes, get them to fix it.
  20. Thanks for the response. I am aware of that but don't think it's the problem as sometimes they don't work at all and sometimes they stop mid sweep. However I think you have a point about it confusing the system. What I think I'll try is to switch off the auto function for a while and then try it again without using my one sweep method and see how it goes. It's quite annoying as despite what I have read from other members I find the auto function really useful and apart from the intermittent fault they work really well.
  21. That's interesting. I've got extended warranty so may go to Lexus with this information.
