  1. If you can afford to pay cash you can probably afford the depreciation!
  2. I imagine they would allow entry as it's not a customs issue. However, you will definitely have to abide by the motoring laws of the countries you visit. These vary and are not necessarily EU wide but country specific. I guess you'll have to check the laws re tinting of each country you plan to visit and check if yours are legal or you may indeed get stopped and fined. Some countries have on the spot fines
  3. Interesting choice of footwear!
  4. Depends on how much you like your employees!

  6. Good idea. I do like a compromise. I am wondering why the discrepancy exists. Looks like a case of right hand not knowing what left is doing!
  7. Have recently downloaded the My Lexus app and according to the service history on there my last service took place at 44,868 miles. According to the paperwork and the dealer who did the service it happened at 46,652 miles. When would you get the next one done. Am worried that if I wait till 56,652 miles they may turn round and say the warranty is not valid as the service interval was not done under warranty conditions as they could say it was done 1,784 too late! Any thoughts?
  8. Let's keep it to ourselves then!
  9. I look at warranties as any other insurance. You hope you never need it but useful if you do. It's a peace of mind thing in my opinion and nobody is forcing you to take it. I've had a few claims which have far outweighed the cost regardless of over inflated dealer prices. And from my experience lexus warranties have relatively small small print and I've never had any squirming out of responsibility. In fact I've had the opposite when have had issues addressed that I wasn't aware of!
  10. It's interesting to note that most poor reliable vehicles were old bl vehicles from the 70's and 80's. Without getting too political this is not surprising. Even though Japanese cars at the time looked ******* you could at least get to your destination with confidence. They didn't need constant tweaking or repairing like uk cars. It's no wonder why Japan took over the automotive world!
  11. Best is either my current GS or a vanden plas 1300 I had many years ago. Totally different but similar in so many ways. Lovely cars to sit in and waft around in a relaxing manner. Worst is without doubt a Morris marina 1300 coupe. Unreliable, uncomfortable and decidedly dangerous in the way the rear always wanted to overtake the front!
  12. I aim to please!
  13. Thanks Lee. Works a treat. Take the rest of the day off!
  14. Thanks. So it's theMy Lexus Europe I need. Installing as we speak!
  15. Thanks Peter. However, When I look on google play for My Lexus all I get is My Lexus Europe and My Lexus of Pembrooke! What should I be searching for?
  16. Hi all, Have just logged into My Lexus in the hope of finding details of previous services but cannot see anything there. Am I looking in the right place? Thanks, Alan
  17. Good luck with the RX problems, hope you get them sorted. You'll have to do a review of the LS. That will be interesting.
  18. That doesn't sound too promising!
  19. All being well will be moving up north in a couple of months. We're going to be about equidistant from Hull and Lincoln. Does anyone have experience of either of these? Not sure which to use. Have had great service from Lexus hedge end for the last 10 years so have been spoilt!
  20. It wouldn't fit anyway!
  21. I guess it's to make them look more rugged and appeal to those that aspire to a certain lifestyle without actually having to make any effort to achieve it!
  22. Really dislike the black wheel arches.
  23. On my GS I've changed the settings so that I have a rev counter instead of the eco thing gauge. As soon as it goes into ev mode the revs drop to zero.
