I think it's so you can move car if you get an engine fault, other wise if you cant start engine you would be unable to put car in neutral for recovery ect.

Ive seen on the altezza for heat reasons the coil packs being used with ht leads, so you could in effect use them even if they dont physically fit down plug holes.

Doesnt mean anything, just the housing for speakers are bigger on amp models so they stuck a lexus badge on them.

Just means you have the non-amp 6 speaker stereo system. TBH ive had both sorts and the amp system is not that much different sound wise. Upside, yours is easier to swap to aftermarket as the adapter is cheaper.

Are you asking about pads or shims? Dont think they do an aftermarket shim kit. You remove them from old pads.

If you press in sides of glovebox it will drop forward, is there an amp to left hand side? If not still doesnt mean your stereo is the worst. All you have is 2 speakers in rear instead of the double stacked version. Another easier way to tell, do your rear speaker covers have lexus on them?

There have been other threads about this and i think conclusion was they are only available from lexus. Or see if a breakers will remove them for you

Have to drive my 200 like a grandad to hit 40mpg. Another point 4ltr car cheaper on tax than my 2ltr (2001). AND they are a lot nicer inside. Anyone want an is200???? Looks like there's going to be a new 400 owner soon.
