  1. Have a look at this Joe, download pdf and scroll down to page 2, show fixings for fuel rail. http://www.4shared.com/get/ZWc6Refy/m_fi_0020.html
  2. Started this thread for you Ian, so we dont hijack other members thread. Glad your'e happy with it.
  3. As steve says above think its to give longer service interval with iridiums. Reading up on them you only get 30,000mls out of the super4,s. I had them in my old IS from e-bay, ran ok but checking later on bosch site they don't list them for IS200. So went back to standard.
  4. Strange just to leave it though? even without t&t they fetch £500+
  5. Looks as though the owner took care of it prior to abandoning it.
  6. Apparently wont fit the european model, have a read here. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/topic/45286-sunglasses-cabin/
  7. DONT buy one , i bought one ready for oil change and they are too small.
  8. Welcome to the club, as above would be nice if you could post pics when it arrives.
  9. The 300 doesnt have a turbo, and only has boot spoiler as standard. The excellent auto box on the is300 is auto and manual with controls on steering wheel. Also has self dimming rear mirrors and armrest. Apart from that all other extras can be found on an is200 sport, metal sill plates ect. but isn't available in auto. go for the se auto and add other dress up bits as you can afford it. I wouldn't say it's worth the increase in tax that you would be paying.
  10. Your'e ok no need to worry, there have been loads of people ask exact same question. Its just condensation/water burning off exhaust and turning into steam. Start to worry only if smoke is blue....
  11. Which ones have said no? Have you any small independant ones near you.
  12. 5w30 oil will be fine, should make a nice car, Good work on the corsa looks factory fitted.
  13. E-bay do genuine toyota oil, 5w30 or 10w40. Cant find gearbox oil anywhere else but lexus/toyota though.
  14. Just swap it with me, you get a new car and its a lexus...win - win. :)
  15. Cant say that i have, my local one is always happy to cut car keys and he only charges £5.
  16. Yes in a word, To the original poster, if you remove kick panel there's a bolt which holds dash unbolt that and you can pull dash toward you and gives more room.
  17. Google and you shall find... http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=9509
  18. The obd connector is under lower edge of dashboard drivers side, next to bonnet pull. list of codes here........http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/index.php?app=tutorials&article=93 I used one of these to read codes and does loads of other things as well. Can be left mounted in car. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TurboGauge-IV-OBD2-4-in-1-Car-Auto-Trip-Computer-Digital-Gauge-Scan-Tool-Reader-/180959129921?pt=UK_Diagnostic_Tools_Equipment&hash=item2a22013141
  19. As said above, poly bushes feel as though your'e riding a skateboard, only up-side is on track tbh.
  20. Wouldn't have though so, should think they would need to be the same.
  21. Hello and welcome to the club. Looks a bargain does that, if you need any parts drop me a pm. Ive just broke an is200 and got a few bits to shift cheap to members of loc.
  22. You only remove the wider one and this is the one the harness fits to. does your lead have a large white plug like this? http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/connects2-ct51lx01-lexus-amplifier-bypass-lead-adaptor-for-lexus-is200-p-15672.html
  23. Straight forward one you have the spring compressors, just the length of time it takes really. DONT lean over strut while using compressors seen a couple snap and they fly some distance with a lot of force.
