  1. Will have to catch up again later if you don't manage to nip in or we have gone, Ray, Have a great holiday.
  2. Before you pay anything try cleaning contacts in plug with a small screwdriver. I always give the connectors a little squeeze with pliers as well to tighten spade connectors up. Might even be the bulb at fault?? try swapping it with other side.
  3. Could have spilt some oil/diesel down exhaust while doing head gasket, How long as it been doing it?
  4. After reading again probably be the above...^^^^^^^^^^
  5. Download from link and its on page 3 just above cam pulley. http://www.4shared.com/office/GrQI1sd6/vvti.html
  6. Was the code P1349 vvti system malfunction? If so just wants filter cleaning in oil control valve. Its just in front of oil filler cap under vvti cover. There is a banjo union on right hand side, undo bolt and there's a filter on the end, needs cleaning as it will be blocked.
  7. Hello Ant, welcome to the LOC. The usual things apply when looking at a 200, service history, cambelt change. Make sure oil and water is clean. Rust isnt usually an issue. Front brakes make sure they are free as are known to seize on sliders. Check that at least one key has 3 buttons as these are usually the master keys, without a master you cannot get replacement keys coded. To check insert key in ignition and security light should extinguish immediately.(could also be 2 button) Check footwells are not damp as are known to leak if windscreen not replaced properly. is200's registered after march 2001 are £50 per year more to tax than pre mar 01. Sure other members will have some input as well. One last thing you wont regret buying a lexus.
  8. E-gay is your best bet if no members have one to sell.
  9. Yes i bet it sounds well on a 300, especially with exhaust as well.
  10. Are you changing to full induction kit ?
  11. Nice settee... :D Will it fit in an is200??? Thats some filter BTW.
  12. Only option you have is try to find original tte item (rare as hens teeth) or have one made, BUT you will have to find someone who has one and is willing to either measure theirs or lend it you as a pattern. Never seen one for sale seperately, always part of the kit which sells for around £2000. Even they are rare. But i wish you luck in your project.
  13. As above, really need the code or part description, before being able to help.
  14. The key shell are cheap enough, loads on e-bay. just have blade cut and install electronics out of old key. like these 2or 3 button case blade length is correct for is200 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Toyota-Key-Case-New-Rubber-Lexus-Key-Case-2x-Button-37mm-Blade-Lexus-Remote-Key-/320991364730?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4abc93867a
  15. Parts needed are supercharger, intercooler, intercooler pipework, inlet snorkel, hoses and clamps, cradle, pulley supercharger belt (5pk790). induction kit or airbox .ik20 spark plugs, tte blackbox or hks fcd..(fuel cut devices)
  16. You could do it that way Chris, would save a bob or 2. Took mine off my old 300 before it went to the scrappy in the sky.
  17. If i were you id drain it again if it wasn't making a noise before oil change. Expensive i know but better than a new engine.
  18. If you are thinking of building your own kit the super charger cradle is next to impossible to find singly.
  19. As Chris says they are more for looks than any benefit to handling. I have deleted your other 3 duplicate threads, In future could you start one thread per subject please.
  20. I have them on my is200 and don't think it.s just the covers that's yellow. £120 is about right for complete units.
  21. Thought they were photoshopped, then realised they are stood in front of old ones. They look ok but cant really see them properly.
  22. Never mind these things happen, went out to the car yesterday and spent 5mins pointing car remote at gates and wondering why they didn't open?????? we dont have electric gates...LOL
