It can be done, if you google is400 sure a tuning company is doing it. Anything's possible if you have enough money. Wont be a diy job on your driveway though. Is your caps lock stuck? LOL.

If you can find one the tte supercharger kit goes for around £2k, and its a bolt on job and can be done in around 4hrs purely because it was sold by toyota as a retro fit so pretty much plug and play.

Sorry but the only way to really tune the is200 is turbocharging or supercharger, obviously either way is'nt cheap. Chips dont make any difference on these engines, so i'm led to beleive. Haven't tried to do mine, just bits of info i have picked up. I'm sure other members will be along who know more about engine tuning.

I know what you mean, I swapped my old is200 for a merc clk as id always loved the look of them. Once i got one i drove it for 2 days and then sold it and bought another lexus. No comparison. -

Yes philip only have to remove grille and a 10 or 12mm spanner or socket.

There was a thread that listed part numbers but can't find it now. If you contact Andy (AClex) he might be able to help. He is a part manager at lexus poole.
