  1. Is that bottle on the right so you dont have to get out for the toilet????? come on be honest...no one else will ever know..
  2. Welcome back, Sounds like a very nice car, mines a 2001 and done 93k. They might be getting on a bit, but still prefer mine over the more modern commuter boxes.
  3. Yep soon need wellies. Oh and all our snows gone round here.
  4. I bought two from the uk, The plastic is not the same as oem but iv'e had no problems with them. Then as you say you need a used key and re-programme it.
  5. Thanks Mark, that's very interesting. Just so I understand this, you bought a second hand key, then a new blank and fitted the blank to the old part and had it cut, is that right? The one I have is a master key. So that means any old master key can be programmed to the car? (if it's the correct type of key) Doesn't even have to be an old master key any of the same type can be used even a 2 button one.
  6. Welcome to the club Jason, Sounds like a nice car. Would be nice to see it, could you put a pic up?
  7. Light the blue touchpaper and retire to a safe distance.....
  8. try the ones here might work for you. http://www.automotiveforums.com/t65722-programming_keyless_remote_for_lexus_ls400.html
  9. re-opened due to popular demand....im not all bad. :)
  10. No sorry, i researched it but never got round to doing the mod itself. The dcpo relay is built in the board i gave you link to, the how to shows a timer board and seperate relay.
  11. Most cars will smoke this weather until car warms up, As long as it.s not blue or black smoke and your oil level isn't dropping i wouldn't worry.
  12. Here you go, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Timer-relay-board-adjustable-0-60-secs-or-0-60-mins-/121085571423?pt=UK_BOI_Electrical_Components_Supplies_ET&hash=item1c3143315f
  13. If you are thinking of selling the sat -nav, have you thought of becoming a gold member on here? Once you have paid your listing fee and final credit fee, paypal ect. You will have spent enough for a years membership. Which entitles you to free selling on the forum and dealers discounts ect. Most of all you get the satisfaction of supporting the club :)
  14. Weighed a fair bit as well Chris. Tried to find Ray's pic but couldn't.
  15. This one? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1998-LEXUS-LS400-AUTO-GREEN-LPG-Converted-/251251504568?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item3a7fc1b5b8
  16. Just to clarify further, You cannot remove just the sat -nav loom, it is built into the dash loom and the floor loom all the way to the back of car. Also involves removing all the interior, dashboard, seats. interior trim, carpets. basically every bit of the interior. Ask Raymond on here, took him and my stepson about 3hrs to remove it from the scrapper i had.
  17. Buyers tend to buy the bits separate as you cant get it to work without the full wiring loom from a sat nav car. The screen would need to be sold with vents as it's all one unit. The controls from centre console just unplugs.and the cd unit from the boot is sold with the cover.
  18. I sold a complete system from an is200 inc wiring loom for £200, Obviously you wont be removing that..LOL. Screen around £120 unless it's the 7" version then up-to £180. (just noticed your is300 is a 2005 so should have large screen.) Controller £35.( would be interested in this myself) cd from boot £50. Thats if you want quick sales, You can advertise for more it's up to you fella.
  19. The wire colours i gave you Ian are the supply wires to the seat heaters, just splice into them and connect wire to seat heater. You will know if they are the correct wires as they will only be live when seat heater switches are pressed. If you get stuck mate, bring it over this weekend and we'll get it sorted for you. As long as it's not snowing LOL
  20. Replied to your pm regarding seats Ian, oh and by the way there's two fuses for radio. Its either one in each footwell fuse box or one in footwell and other under bonnet in fuse box near battery. They are labelled radio 1 and radio 2.
  21. Sorry to heat that fella, Hopefully wont cast too much to put it right.
  22. Welcome to the club Jamie, Have a read through here, lists quite a few things, the paint under the bonnet does not shine like the bodywork, it's a matt finish from the factory, could be mistaken for accident repair. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/topic/69388-what-problems-would-you-advise-others-when-buying-a-is200/
