    That's a bit pricey Tom. The one i have at the minute had 89k with fsh and two owners from new,,just had cambelt done and serviced, with a private plate for £1200. Keep checking on e-bay and autotrader ect or even gumtree. I know what it;s like wanting a car but don't let your heart overrule your head, be patient and one will come up. I made that mistake once with an is300, didn't listen to my intuition and 2 days later gearbox blew..

    Tools used. Hammer Baseball bat scaffold tube and some random bricks. Sorry, just saw the Is300 detailing thread and when people say "ive just given the car a good going over" Always reminds me of the faulty towers episode with basil thrashing car with a tree branch. :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

    Hello and welcome to the club. There seems to be a few people mentioning the fault you have and most probably is the release bearing.

    you need to reset the ecu, so 'im led to believe. in the fuse box near battery under bonnet, 1) Remove the 20Amp/25Amp EFI fuse 2) Remove the 15Amp ETCS fuse leave 10 mins and replace.

    Might just be a case of cleaning contacts in switch, the contacts get tarnished due to not being used much.

    Totally agree with Steve and Roy, I keep all receipts for service parts ect and even the ones for little things like bulbs, then our local independant garage does everything for just labour cost.
