If it's just the casing/clear plastic or dial faces broken you can replace all of them seperately, as long as main board is ok inside you can keep your mileage. I have all the parts available apart from a mainboard.

Yes Chris makes clocking easier if you're a bit shady. Would still show up on mot history check though.

Just changed the clocks in mine to the altezza rs200 ones, The mileage is stored in the eeprom on the mainboard of the speedo. I too had heard the mileage was stored in the ecu, but obviously not. Cost £20 to have it changed to correct mileage by local "correction" company.

Very sorry to hear about your car, First step is to ring your insurance and report the accident, try and get a case number or crime number from the police and the number of the station dealing with the crime. I know you don't want to hear this but looking at the damage most probably will be written off? Sorry. You could get independant advice and if theres no chassis damage and it's just cosmetic, you could buy it back from insurance company and replace doors, wing ect yourself from a breakers yard. The wings just bolt on, replace both doors, bit of paint and filler on rear arch.....job done.
