To fit an aftermarket stereo to your car you need an amp bypass lead, The original plug which went into back of stereo is not used. Amazes me how some cutters say they can't do them, our local one has done 3 for me, takes him 5 mins and only charges £5. If you want to post them me i can have it cut for you and post them back ???

The meet is on the Saturday Graham, Regarding the camping i'm unable to organise that side of things due to sorting venue ect, I would have thought it will be saturday night after the meet. There are links to nearby campsites in the first post. Would anyone be willing/free to organise that side of things please???

Yes they bolt on using existing holes on the front and as you say fronts will definitely fit, not sure about the rears and you have to make a couple of extra holes when fitting them (only in plastic though, not bodywork). Contact AClex on here, he's a lexus parts manager so can tell you for sure.

Put it this way, I have an IS200 and the parts have been cheaper for the lexus, than sons renault scenic and my old vectra.....Go figure.

A 2006 radio will not fit in a 2000 model as you say the connector blocks are different, also a top loading unit will not fit if yours is a bottom loading and vice-versa. As Normski says you will have to find out whether yours has an external amp or not,located at left side of glovebox, if you have the se model will have an amp, the "s" model hasn't. To make absolutely sure you need same model number.....Hope this helps.

Ive got one of those spare....you can have it for £8 posted, just lying around in my shed...remote control too.
