  1. That looks very nice, good choice, is your old standard unit a top loading model?
  2. As long as the aspect ratio is 45, the rolling radius is the same.
  3. Hello, welcome aboard, enjoy your new car.
  4. Hello and welcome to the club. Can;t wait to see pics of the new car. :)
  5. Here's a few Ted. http://www.banbury-run.co.uk/Accommodation-Gaydon.pdf
  6. here you go, Taken from my.is forum is200 brake bleed step by step. 1. First park you car on a stable surface, prefably the garage on cement or something level. 2. jack up the fron end and remove the wheels, place wooden 12 x 12 blocks underneath the front of the frame in front of the oil pan, also on each side underneath the control arms where the bottom of the strut is mounted. 3. Do the same on the rear removing the wheels and placing wooden blocks or jack stands under the rear control arms at the bottom of the shock and place some blocks under the rear diff for extra safety. 4. Now that you car is all blocked up roll down the drivers side window ( to pop the bonnet and so you can talk to your helper, Who ever you get to be the brake pedal pumper. 5.Pop the bonnet and, remove the cap from the brake fluid reservoir on top of the master cylinder. 6. get a piece of pcv hose or plastic hose, clear is best. Find a piece that is a little bit smaller that the nipple on the brake bleed screw on the calipers. Also get a big container or any bucket you don't mind filling with the used brake fluid. 7. In order to get the plastic line to slip over the nipple easy and make a good seal, get a heat gun or even a blow dryer will work. Heat up the end of the plastic hose until it is soft and then ( with gloves if it is hot) slide it over the nipple and it will easily expand and form a nice fit over the bleeder screw. Now when you go to do the other calipers it will nicely slide on since it has expanded and formed to the bleeder once already. No need to heat the end up again. 8. Have a friend or someone that is smart enough to pump the brakes for you in the drivers seat, tell them to pump it up (press the brake pedal several times until hard ) tell them to say okay when done, then crack the bleeder with a 10mm wrench for a quick spurt and then re tighten, it will release the brake fluid. Repeat this several times until there is no air in the line. Making sure to keep the master cylinder reservoir full so that it does not get to low and allow air to get in the master cylinder. 9. The sequence you want to bleed the brakes rear passenger side rear driver side front passenger side front driver side abs manifold there is a little bleeder nipple on the bottom of the block, attach the clear line to the nipple and feed down to the bucket, you do not need to pump the brakes to bleed this just make sure you have an air tight seal on your brakes and crack it open. Since it is downhill from the master cylinder it will gravity bleed itself. Close the nipplel once all the air bubbles are out of the system. 10. Now go and re bleed the entire brake system one more time except for the abs and you should be good to go. 11. It is also a good idea to get 3 litres of dot 3 brake fluid so that you can bleed the brakes until you have flushed all the crappy old fluid out of the system. 12. replace the reservoir cap after filling if to the max level line on the brake fluid reservoir, double check all the bleeders are tightly closed and replace and re install the dust caps on them. 13. re install wheels and remove the blocks or jack stands and you are ready to rock! hope this helps someone who got air in there lines and doesnt have to go threw all the trials i had 2. If you still have a mushy pedal repeat and if you cant figure it out take it to the dealer to be serviced by a proffesional, do not drive it with spongy brakes!
  7. Well done Steve, was hovering over lock topic myself.
  8. Things are looking rosy for you then Pete. :) . Drop me a line closer to you selling up and i;ll try to convince my father he needs a lexus... :D

  10. Thanks for your kind words Pete, any news on the move yet mate?
  11. After receiving the go ahead from Steve, I am now able to offer these alloy plates to members. I do not make any personal profit from any orders, whatever the supplier quotes is what you will pay. I originally ordered 2 sets as samples from China for my own personal use, Cost £30 for each set which included cnc design and set up costs. Obviously the more members who put an order in the cheaper they will get. Available in silver with black lettering as pictured or black with silver lettering. If you can;t wait i will sell my other set for £22 posted.
  12. The plates themselves were a bob or two, as i had to pay for cnc design. I have another set spare if anyone's interested.
