    I used the older version and Tbh most of the screen surround was not needed, basically only used the lid and open/close mechanism. You could do quite easily if needed....just easier if it has it already.

    I found the best thing for doing the job is curtain wire.

    That is all you need just the pop up screen unit. As i said earlier if you go for that one, make sure the screw cover is included as they are near impossible to get separate. The mio will fit as you have seen but the on-off slider needs modifying as well as its on top of the unit. If your fitter needs any pointers let me know mate. Both the items you have are exactly what i used.

    The sound is brilliant for a modulator! Very clear no hissing,whining at all.     Thanks for reading my thread, The system uses the car speakers through a built in FM modulator, channel 6 on radio. Displays maps and plays music at same time, just cuts in with the next direction. The good side of the set-up is how many functions it has, Only down side to it, there's no bluetooth function and cant be used as a monitor for reversing camera ect. Great piece of kit for the money, Has 7" screen and does more than any other sat nav.

    If you are wanting the original wiring and plug, the only way is to ask someone who is breaking the same model year and see if they will chop the loom for you.

    That's not a standard arm rest leon,Looks to be from a different make of car. I know fiat stilo ones can be made to fit as i did it to one of my old cars. will find a pic of standard one for you in the morning.

    You need a thin flat blade screwdriver and there's a very small indentation on the rear of the lens, just prises off.
