That's all there is bolt wise, Must just have stuck itself with time, Try wobbling it side to side to the break seal. Be careful as there's a pipe underneath to disconnect.

With you mentioning a fuel smell, have you tried swapping the fpr? Thinking back to my cosworth days, i once had a similar problem and traced it to overfuelling. Bit rich on tickover but higher the speed the rougher it ran. Might be way out but who knows?

She's definitely worth the time Steve, Take it the plug leads didn't cure it then?

I have just thought of a way around the number plate issue which was me that bought it up about blanking out the number plates in pics etc I just get two other number plates with just MK 4 LS400 for example and stick them over the originals, problem solved just remember to take them off before you head home. I have got my plates on order. Mike I had the same idea! I told Ian we need show plates :) Heather x (ians200 wifey)

Hello and welcome to the club, A good start is to run some BG44K through with a tank of fuel. I noticed a near instant improvement after using it. Smoother tick over ect. You cannot get any more than minimal power gains(if any) on these 6 cyl engines. Only thing you can try cheaply is the usual k&n filter or after market induction kit. There are literally hundreds exterior/interior mods on the market, just have a browse through flea-bay and the forums Richard. regards. Ian.

Hard to tell, but all is200/300 have some smoke on start-up in the mornings due to moisture build up in the exhaust. Seems more noticeable on the lexus due to the stainless exhaust (fitted from factory).

Seem to be a few of these just lately. First check fuses in driver footwell marked gauge and panel, secondly check that the dimmer switch plug is secure.

The auto dimming door mirrors are only on the is300 and the is200LE and maybe 05 models.

You can get the glass with holder but can't find any for sale at the minute. You could try ACLex on here, Andy is a parts manager at lexus and can usually find any part you need. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/forum/150-discounted-lexus-parts-mail-order/
