  4. Sounds like the clutch slave cylinder to me Ian.
  5. The standard alarm on the IS only goes off if you break a window/open a door when set. Doesn't have a tilt sensor as standard. Not too sure about a shock sensor though as mine used to go off if you even tried door handles.

  8. I would go black, the grey would just look like undercoat. The facelift ones are dark chrome not grey surely???

  10. The oil is in with the refrigerant, so doesn't need topping up ect. Don't know how halfords check it but level could be low.

  12. Yes it's one of the domes for lights, try giving them a clean if not the sensor could be loose or faulty or stalk could be at fault.

  15. wiring wise it will be straight forward with already having single din already, you might need a double din facia depending on type already fitted. The xtrons we had in one of our old cars was fine apart from radio signal, but that was an older model.

  18. Never noticed any improvement when i fitted the K&N replacement element. Only upside i could see was never having to replace again ,just clean it every few thousand miles. Can't comment on full induction kit as never fitted one sorry.
