  1. Sorry to hear of your problem, the wiring i quoted above was straight out of manual. Have you checked fuses in both footwells and the ones under bonnet? here's download link for wiring diagram http://www.4shared.com/office/gA1Um7Q2/169_headlight_washers.html
  2. When Ryann fitted mine and bearing in mind he's never took one off before it took him 2;5 hours start to finish. I don't think it's possible without taking it off TBH.
  3. I think your looking in the right place, could be the new bulbs are drawing a large current and overheating control unit.
  4. Welcome to the club Glenn, Once you have owned a lexus you won;t buy anything else. If you have the car and you feel like it, the club is having a mini meet in November, see below for details.
  5. Video would be great, be better entertainment than what's been on tv recently.
  6. Long shot but it could be the switch that;s faulty on the stalk.
  7. Yes it uses the same bottle as washer jets, you don't have to press washer stalk as well. but the lights have to be on.
  8. See my last post mate, found wire colours for you, can send full diagram if you need it pm me your email address . regards Ian.
  9. Are you going to sell him the engine out the old one you have in garage Steve..
  10. EDIT>>>If you bridge the red wire with blue stripe and the blue wire with white stripe you should hear see pump working ....if fitted.
  11. It is rather steep Luke, if you understand wiring i can send you some diagrams.
  12. This is the switch you need. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEXUS-IS200-2LTR-2001-FITS-1999-2005-HEADLAMP-HEADLIGHT-WASHER-SWITCH-/281194417183?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item41787e4c1f
  13. Can't argue with that mate, At least you can see what the interior/comfort is like.
  14. You can take my gs300 for a spin at meet, basically the same as a gs430 apart from engine size.
  15. Hope it works out for you Rudy, I bought my first IS200 the same way....risky ....but if you don't take live dangerously every now and again you don't get the bargains...LOL
  16. Welcome to the club Ashley, there has been a fair few new members from notts recently. There's a meet in your neck of the woods in November if you would like to meet a few club members. See my sig for details.
  17. Here you go Jamie http://www.fayre-square.com/pub/plank-and-leggit-long-eaton/m6973/
  18. No worries Chris, It's all ready for you.
  19. The Plank and leggit and the motor museum meets have been a great success thanks to great club members. So next year how about some full day meets with the above thrown in????? Any thoughts people....Don;t be shy it's your club after all.
  20. Thanks Chris, do you want the armrest bringing to the meet fella? Will only take 20 min to fit.
  21. Welcome to the club Jamie, as Steve has already said, you would be more than welcome at the meet.
  22. Added you to the list Barry, hope you can make it.
  23. I have found that gumtree and preloved are good places to sell cars, FLe-bay is ok but be prepared to deal with some idiots, although i have never been messed about when selling a car, recently sold one on behalf of my father. Autotrader is another option but it's quite expensive compared to others, Or as other members have said become a gold member for £40 and sell away, not much more expensive than a good ad on Autotrader.
