  1. Mine does it as well, apparently it's the accumulator for the braking system. These cars don't have a servo like other cars, it's a container full of gas. The buzzing you can hear is pump re-charging. I.m told as long as it doesn't do it with every press of the pedal it's ok. Have a look here John. http://www.soarerworld.com/forum/showthread.php?29558-TRC-Accumulator-rebuil
  2. Welcome to the club Ian..Sounds like a nice car, Ask whether the head gasket has had the recall done on the car. The is220 is notorious for head gasket failures.
  3. Sounds like the reviews on the net are just to get people to buy latest idea. If yours have lasted that long shows the bad comments about dc ballasts is just hype. I believed it and bought as set of the digital ac ballasts after my first post and first set were useless.
  4. I like you have it in both hands but not a surgery stage yet with left....Love the pocket bit...classic.
  5. Hello Chris, Don't take this the wrong way but you might get more responses if you refrain from using text speak on the forum. Most of the members left their teens behind some time ago and don't understand/respond to text speak. It's a lot like leaving caps lock on when posting. Regards, Ian.
  6. Show's what Cameron is? We have just been watching a programe about farming/cooking. They used their own produce to make tasty dishes, bred pigs. grew oats, wheat. veggies ect. At the end of the series all left over produce was sent to a farmers market with all profits going to children in need. People were paying over the odd's for charity, One person paid £30 for a sack of oats on sale for £15. On waltzes cameron, buys 3 small bags and pay's with a tenner............The tight arsed £$%^ appeared to be waiting for his change.....Typical tory.
  7. Welcome to the club and GS ownership. Great cars.

  9. It's still a fault with the kit i'd say.
  10. AND I bet you've never had an accident but have seen plenty Pompous bugger Can we not resort to name calling please??? I WILL come out and take the ball off you...
  11. It's a load of rubbish they are telling you. Just keep asking for a refund. some info for you. http://www.ebay.com/gds/AC-HID-KIT-vs-DC-HID-KIT-/10000000019742815/g.html
  12. I have a couple of ac digital ballasts you can have for £15 posted. DC ballasts will flicker and wear bulbs out quicker. I found this out through research before buying mine.
  13. Are the ballasts ac or dc do you know? dc ballasts are known to flicker.
  14. Regarding piggyback chips, i've heard that the standard ecu just re learns and ignores chip Clever these japanese.
  15. Welcome to the club Jason, I'm afraid there are no easy ways to improve the is200's power. Only way to get worthwhile power increases involve turbo/supercharging or engine swaps. Only thing easily done is usual exhaust. air filter change, but gains if any are negligible.
  16. Welcome to the club Dave, You bought a cracking car there, and the front armrest seems to be installed brilliantly ask Chris....
  17. Once you have the panel out bulbs are available from here. http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/standard-dashboard-and-panel-bulbs-for-cars/ The radio and climate controls are removed as one unit.
  18. Don't talk to me about euro car-parts....Idiots....Sent me 2 cree hb4 bulbs and one was broken, took photo as required before a replacement sent, They then sent a hb4 HId bulb as a replacement...completely wrong type. Ordered two normal bulbs wrong ones sent, Finally i had a hid kit off them and 2 wks later ballasts knackered. Can't be bothered with them any more,,,bought elsewhere.
  19. HB3 main beam. HB4 dipped and foglight. Night breakers will fit straight in as they are only a standard size. As Chris says just twist and pull.
  20. Very nice Chris, I quite like the interior, not often seen on silver cars. Are they your old aero's?
  21. Newcastle brown labels used to be passable as well.....allegedly.
