  1. You have been added to the list Andrew, See you on the day.....That's 2 ISF's best turnout ever.
  2. As David says homelink is more of a U>S market thing....Although i'd have it if available in uk. Am i right in thinking it's the system that knows when you have been in an accident and alerts police ect? and can remote start car amongst other things.
  3. Welcome to the club Tim, You have just found the best kept secret in the motoring world....LEXUS. Cheap reliable luxury motoring....Enjoy your new car. Ian.
  4. I must have been lucky with mine, I have had 2 sets on my is200's Both off e-bay and under £50. The second set were brand new and never fitted, even had original fitting kit. If i had known you wanted some, i could have given you a link as there was another set on fleabay a few wks ago.
  5. Hello Janet, If you have a local windscreen fitting place, call in there, they will stick it back on for you. My local one did when wife's mirror fell off on old car. or you could try this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Evostick-view-rear-mirror-Reversing-reverse-interior-adhesive-glue-2ml-sticky-/181302430448?pt=UK_Crafts_Cardmaking_Scrapbooking_Glue_Tape_EH&hash=item2a36778af0 or this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CAR-REAR-VIEW-INTERIOR-MIRROR-ADHESIVE-FIX-GLUE-BOND-/320762077973?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item4aaee8e315
  6. Subtle changes can be effective as well, This is my old is200, is300 fogs, spats and carbon on front bumper...sport grille.
  7. No i don't think you ever get to the stage where you have everything. You always find something else you "NEED" but if you can afford it go for it. We only come this way once so enjoy yourself, you never know what's round the corner. I managed to work my way up from manual labour in warehousing to assistant manager, Put things off "while i get a bit further" and "more money in bank" Then all of a sudden through health reasons physical and mental, had to come out of work. So my advise is do or buy anything that makes you and your family happy.
  8. I heard it from you but didnt know you were the first. nice No worries mate, It's amazing what you try when your bored..LOL. Worked out better than i thought it would and first one cost less than a tenner fitted.
  9. I found the easiest way is to upload pic to photobucket first then copy and paste the "IMG" code in your post.
  10. Just as a byline, It was i also who did the first Stilo armrest mod.
  11. I have both Pete, Give me till tomorrow to test and you can have them. (literally have a bag full to choose from so will make sure they are working). Pm me your address mate and they will be in post Thursday for you.
  12. Welcome to the club Dee, Loads of people have lowered their car with no problems but be careful if your using the gs300 wheels with rears being wider. Sure some of the IS owners will give some input, Have you thought of having car vinyl wrapped?? Feel free to post some pic's if you have some. Ian.
  13. If it's easier Pete i can photograph the one's i have and see if you recognise the culprit.....LOL.
  14. More than happy to give you a ride out if you like. :) Lexus owners.......just brilliant.
  15. Ask and you shall receive...LOL....Haven't used this site myself though. http://www.docstoc.com/docs/149943021/Lexus-IS250-IS220D-Workshop-Service-Repair-Manual-2005-2013-(218MB-Searchable-Printable-Bookmarked-iPad-ready-PDF)
  16. I found that when i first joined, way different to other forums. People on here will always help if they can.
  17. If you do them Chris, the best way is cut on the clear side as close to grey plastic as possible, then when you reassemble using silicone, holds together easier while drying. That would be quicker and less likely to go wrong LOL, Although it isn't as bad as it sounds.
  18. Or another idea is something like this on dash panel under ignition switch http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/5-PCS-100-Anti-Slip-Mat-Non-Slip-Car-Dashboard-Sticky-Pad-Mat-/331111280057?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item4d17c52db9
  19. Has anyone replaced their rear seat or have one from a car they broke for spares? If you have could you PM me with a price posted please. Ian.
  20. The rear lights cannot be split with oven method, The easiest way is to use a "dremel" or equivalent and cut round seam of light. The rear lights are ultrasonic plastic welded together whereas front lights are held together with mastic. If you search on youtube there are video's for both types.
  21. Wears the interior of barrel out as well, My fathers girlfriend use to have a load of keys ect on car key. Had problems starting car eventually it was traced to worn switch caused by weight on ignition key.
