  2. Welcome to the club, Cracking car Mark, Thanks for your comments about the forum, Glad you found it a help choosing your Lexus.
  3. Sorry don't have a pic but i used the "4D" effect vinyl off e-bay on my damaged dash (same place as yours) and it looked fine. Buy the black though NOT the gray.
  4. Let me know when you have put the thread together and i will add it in the "How To" section. Excellent work.
  5. They will fit straight on Lee, Only trouble you might have is if they are the 18" sport alloys with the wider rears and if your cars been lowered. They could rub.
  6. White is a good contrast on a dark car. Just a pain to keep clean though. NOT MINE, shamelessly taken from photobucket
  7. Welcome to the club Richard, Why not come to the meet in April fella? Plenty of people to chat to and a chance to show off your new car. Link to meet thread is below my Sig. Regards, Ian.
  8. +1!! Or third option as above..should have been first...oops.
  9. Regarding the black dash part, easiest way would be to cover with carbon effect vinyl,or even the real carbon fibre adhesive sheet. Sounds silly but lightly go over bobbled area on door card with a disposable razor. Works a treat. GENTLY though.
  10. There's 4 here, not listed as fitting gs430 but they will as i have a gs300 and they are same as is200 nuts. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/230893536613?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649
  11. We usually meet at around 10.00 am till whenever, If it's not too cold there should be some members still there . I will pm you my mobile number closer to the day, that way you can text me too ensure you wont find an empty car park....LOL
  12. Excellent Craig, see you there and added you to the list.
  13. Can't really go any other way when they are cheaper. At least you know they exceed what the car requires, got to be safer really?
  14. Replacing just the pins won't cure the problem, you need new boots as well. Here;s a list of part numbers you need Part numbers for fronts: 2 x 47715-22070 Pin, Cylinder Slide 2 x 47715-30060 Pin, Cylinder Slide 2 x 47769-50010 Bush, Cylinder Slide 2 x 47775-30070 Bush Dust Also there is a guide here on how it should be done. http://www.lexusownersclub.co.uk/forum/tutorials/article/161-caliper-slide-pin-overhaul-plus-all-models-i-think/ Highly unlikely that your guy did the above.
  15. As above more for looks than function on a 200. I had grooved on my old 200 purely because they were cheaper locally than OEM ones??? Go figure. Although having uprated brakes can't hurt.
  16. The belts are, alternator on right and aircon and power steering belts on left and of course timing belt under plastic covers.
  17. We will let you off with the BMW slip up.......But are you sure you want the highlighted comment on a family forum...
  18. Welcome to the forums again, What a car as an upgrade.....Not jealous.....................................................MUCH.
  19. Most Lexus do it,. As Jami says it;s the condensation/water inside pipes burning off .
